Solid spot with good, filling food. The pupusas are quite good – the cheese and masa are top notch. I think there could have been more filling, but that’s just me being greedy. There’s a balance to these things(Lupita’s up the street goes to far in the other direction). Pleasant service. They are starting offer some Guatemalan dishes as well. I also appreciate the clean, modern interior. Definitely recommended if you are looking to try somewhere new in the area.

I checked this out last night after I saw someone with what looked like really good pupusas and they directed me to Mango. I placed a take-out order and had to wait about 20 minutes for the order of pupusas, black beans, and plantains to be prepared. When I got home, they’d left out the beans. When I tried to call them and let them know, the number listed on the receipt and website was disconnected. The food I did receive was the worst Salvadoran food I’d ever had. The pupusas were all masa– no flavor and very little filling. The plantains were underripe and unsweet. The curtido(cabbage slaw) had no flavor and desperately needed salt. The salsa was a watery, tasteless joke(I’ve had more flavorful red water come out of a can of stewed tomatoes). I will never patronize this place again. Try Coco’s across the street. Not what it used to be ten years ago but still significantly better than Mango’s… Too bad. It’s a good location and spacious spot.

Worst Place I have ever been to in my entire life!!! The food taste sour specially their beans. The horchata tastes disgusting. They take for ever to prepare it. Felt like getting up and leaving w/out paying. I saw a lady walk out and complain about her chicken!

We wait too long to put the order. Besides the drinks don’t taste good. The cheese on the pupusas is not the cheese you use to make a pupusas. The fried Platanos are too dried and the cream taste like they added water with starch. First and last time.

I went to Mango with my boyfriend after work in the evening on Tuesday. Besides us, there was only a table of four. 30 minutes after we placed order, we still didn’t get our foods. Not to mention that the horchata mixed way to much water, store bought chips, and watery salsa. We also got two glasses of ice water which I ordered mine without ice… I didn’t get a chance to taste there foods, couldn’t wait any more. For 30 minutes they didn’t even start our foods. That is ridiculous long! We canceled our order and left money for our drinks. If there is a zero star I will rate it zero. Unilocal should add ZERO star options for Unilocalers!

One of the best salvadorian spots I’ve found in northern Cali. Food was delicious! We had pupusas revueltas– the curtido was delicious, and yuca frita con chicharones. Highly recommend!

This place is new in my neighborhood so I wanted to try it. I took my kids for lunch. We got the pupusas with beans. All the food was great and so was the service.
