McCannon Design

I am a landscape contractor in the sf bay area. I worked on back to back projects last year with Corry. Both projects were a success. I found Corry easy to deal with. Corry has a vast plant knowledge, including natives and introduced species. He has a creative eye and yet is practical on what is right for a space. I carry Corry’s cards with me in my truck and would recommend him to any potential clients.

Corey McCannon turned out to be the perfect landscape architect for me. He is super patient, knowledgeable and skilled. Corey really listened to what I wanted from my outdoor space, how much we could spend, what was important to us about the yard… He developed three different initial designs and then took the elements I liked from each of them to come up with another working design (and then changed it again when I changed my mind). We’re in the process of building the yard at the moment (and Corey helped me choose a contractor) and I’m so excited for the space to come to life. Corey specializes in native gardens and is LEED certified (does everything as green as possible). He has a strong aesthetic sense, and managed to incorporate my ideas seamlessly into the plan. And, his rates are super reasonable. I would give him 10 stars if I could. I’ll post pictures as soon as we have them. The before and after is going to be pretty dramatic. I interviewed several landscape designers and went so far as to pay one of them a big chunk of change to get designs developed. (We abandoned those plans because they were far beyond the budget we’d set out and hadn’t really incorporated the things we asked for.)
