This is in the center courtyard of the D building. Typical boiled hot dog lunch truck stand. They have beef and turkey and veggie dogs. The combos are a good deal — under $ 5 for a hot dog, chips and soda. Plus, if you have a break in the middle of a 3 hours class in the D building you are NOT going to make it up those stairs to the cafeteria and get your food in time.
They sell tamales, coffee and other snacks like muffins and nuts.
The guys working have always been nice and let me substitute fruit for the chips (50c extra), water for the soda and other drinks for a couple quarters more.
They close up about 7pm.

Located in the middle of Merritt College. Cash only.
They serve drinks, snacks, watered-​down instant coffee, and hot dogs.
I only go here as a last resort if I am absolutely devastated with hunger. The hot dogs are a bit over priced (sorry, Costco prices are hard to beat) and the condiments don’t look fresh. The hot dogs are left in the hot water all day, so when the guy puts the dog in the bun… you get a wet bun.
