Ora Tiffany’s Salon

I can’t say enough good things about my first experience here at Ora Tiffany’s. Wade Littlejohn is so professional (and what a name right??? It’s so Dynasty/​Daytime television… I’ll have to become accustom to saying
” I’m going to the Littlejohns’ estate this weekend for for glamour, gossip and nosh… who’s with me dahlings???”)
But seriously… he knows his shit. Personable, articulate, self directed, and very capable.
I, like another woman who reviewed his shop, have mixed hair… curly enough to be nappy but not kinky, soft but in no way manageable. Stylists are always either trying to convince me to relax with chemicals, or commit to locs… how I went in with nappy natural tufts at 5ish and left with non chemically straightened silk by 6:30 is beyond me… but hey that’s the magic of Wade. High end stylist at affordable prices.
Also I’m a bit of a germaphobe, but this place was spotless, it’s a large space, and the location is easily accessible by public transit.
When I went in their were different types of women there all with varying degrees of hair requests… so I’m fairly certain he can do anyone’s hair.
Please try this salon/​stylist if you’re looking for someone new… There are a plethora of shittastic stylists out there, but this guy is a cut above the rest… and then some.

I am a half white, half black girl in the process of growing out my relaxer. That said, I needed a good stylist. I found OraTiffany’s on Unilocal and read all the great reviews which lead me to making an appointment with the owner Wade Littlejohn. As we all know, it is scary going to a new salon… and it is even scarier when you want a serious hair cut. I was looking for someone professional that knew how to do it all. Wade exceeded my expectations.
I wanted my hair cut into a fairly short bob and I had a bunch of photos of styles that I liked and Wade took all of my suggestions along with his professional opinion and gave me a bomb ass cut and style! Even though my boyfriend was skeptical about chopping it all off, I still did it and he is just as happy with the cut as I am.
Needless to say, I had a wonderful and professional experience and I can’t wait to go back…

I think that Wade is a wonderful stylist and precision cutter. Often I have issues with other stylist and various salons who encourage me to receive chemical services to straighten out my curl pattern. Wade on the other hand took no issue with the curls and flat ironed my hair with ease. I left his salon with volume and shine. A huge plus was the fact that I did not leave with that dreaded «burnt hair» smell.

This is a wonderful salon! Wade is absolutely fabulous and keeps my hair looking movie star quality. He has top-​notch operators in the salon with a vast clientele of who’s who. Very impressive for such a young person. The vibe is very positive and everyone is so happy. His assistant Macelle is very helpful and kind all the time.
As far as the person who gave a negative review, I agree with Miss D, I do not trust the validity of your review.
Trust me, go to wade, you and your hair will not regret the experience!

Avoid this place at all costs! Not because they can’t do hair, necessarily… I wouldn’t know… since Wade, the stylist, stood me up?
I was in town on a visit and needed a little touch up and hair cut. I stopped in… met Wade… made an appointment for the next day. When I showed up for my appointment, no one was at the facility!
I waited about a half hour and even called the number posted on their window… to no avail.
This was extremely unprofessional! I had provided my phone number for him… if he had an emergency, why not call me to reschedule/​cancel? Even if he left the number at the shop, why not call once he was on site to apologize?
Either way, I think this is a piss poor way to run a business and I wouldn’t give this guy a dime! On the other hand, I walked a few blocks and went to Hair Glamour — Tiffany. She was so warm and excited about working with me. Although I didn’t have an appointment, she worked me in and worked wonders! She did far more than i expected… or even knew to ask for.
That said, if you’re in the area and need a stylist… forego Wade at Oratiffany’s and walk a few blocks to Hair Glamour!
