Freaking love it! Huge place and my friends sister is totally rocking the mic… Irene aka Chloe, Evan, Amir, and Rob. Midnight Bellows… they were amazing!

I’ve lived here 10 years.
5-​stars: The spaces are great.
5-​stars: Neighborhood has pros and cons, mostly pros. Convenient, creative, historically important, diverse. There is also poverty and the crime that stems from this — shouldn’t be a surprise for anyone. Just be sensitble.
5-​stars: The garden is beautiful.
0-​stars: As another reviewer (Kathy F) said, neighbors are always hanging out in the garden. She didn’t mention there is frequently noise, smoking and drinking, as well as bottles, debris, ashtrays 24×7. The BBQ smoke isn’t pleasant either but this is more limited. For me, this is 0– stars since i smell cigarette and pot smoke in my loft at all hours of the day and night, as well as am kept awake by the sporadic spontaneous laughter and conversation. I’m told by management to close my window, in spite of a Non-​Disturbance Clause in our lease that basically says we have quiet time from 10P-7:30A. Those neighbors simply ignore my requests.

The building is a live/​work space that’s better suited for working. There are trucks around, but since I don’t live here, it’s not much of a problem for me. There is gated parking, it’s close to freeway access, close to working supplies (home/​office depot) and a taco truck out back (bonus!).
I felt compelled to leave a review after seeing some old posts that I don’t think accurately reflect what I have witnessed. It’s a fine workplace for me where I do design and some light fabrication and prototyping. works great for me!

Huge warehouses in the middle of a war zone. If you’re expecting more, you will be disappointed.
I’ve heard things can be a bit adversarial with property management, but that was mostly before my time. Our live-​in building manager does a fine job keeping up on the stuff I care about.
Security… meh. As long as we work together and use a little common sense, I think its not all that bad.
I’d give three stars, but I’m pretty sick of getting woken up before 7am by trucks blowing their horns to get let in the gate.
