Dr. Ross is the most amazing doctor I’ve ever had, hands down. He’s down-​to-​earth and listens carefully and compassionately to what’s going on. He never makes you feel rushed – in fact, one time, he spent nearly an hour with me at the end of the day going through all the different options I had for treatment. His staff all love him and the nurses at my primary care unit rave about him. Oh – and did I mention he’s an incredible surgeon? He’s done three operations on me for kidney stones, all of them performed with great skill and success. To top it off, he returns your emails and your phone calls right away and talks to you personally on the phone. I wish all doctors were this good!

This is my first time reviewing a doctor as I’ve never really felt the need to, but recent experiences with horrible ones who seemed to forget that people who seek their expertise are not there for their enjoyment. They are there because they’re frightened of their symptoms and want to know what’s going on.
Dr. Phillip Ross is a great doctor who seems to understand his patients. My mother had sought out the advice of two different Urologists who both blamed her current painful and frightening symptoms on a recurring condition she has without even doing further testing. They said that she would just have to put up with the pain and bleeding as her condition was not severe enough to undergo surgery. Being told to put up with ongoing pain is such a very disheartening and frustrating thing to hear.
Thankfully upon seeing Dr. Ross for the first time, he scheduled for her to return in a week in which he did a cystoscopy and immediately found a growth in her bladder which he suspects has been the cause of her symptoms. We are unsure of the results of her biopsy at this moment, but Dr. Ross should be commended for doing what doctors are supposed to do. listen to their patients and do their best to figure out what is going on.
In addition, his bedside manner is excellent. He’s very professional and thorough in his explanations. I could not be more pleased that my Mom was able to find Dr. Ross and she surely is appreciative of his efforts as well.
