Poppy Nha-Hanh Nguyen, LAC

I have worked with a couple acupuncturists in the past. They were all fine and they helped me with what I went to see them for. But I never felt compelled to write about them. But I think Poppy deserves some recognition for the fine work she is doing. I went to see her last week for my achy and stiff shoulders and upper back that were really causing me some prolonged discomfort. My friend mentioned he had a very good experience with Poppy, and since I was in Oakland most last week, I thought I book an appointment with her. And I am glad I did.
Poppy has a very warm and sincere bedside manner. She puts me at ease right away. She has a down to earth energy that is increasingly difficult tot find. She performed a detailed questionnaire on my health history and performed some physical examination on my shoulders and back before needling. Her needling was very gentle and didn’t hurt, which was important for me. I was fast asleep after that. I don’t really know what she did, but my mind and shoulders felt like they just came back from a tropical vacation, relaxed and calm.
Will go see her on a regular basis. Highly recommended.
