There is love and healing in Ariana’s massage therapy.
Aside from her clear communication before, during, and after my appointment, her professional yet comforting approach, and her extensive knowledge about massage and anatomy (I asked a lot of questions, haha), there was so much more that made this the best massage I’ve ever had in my life.
Thank you for understanding what I needed; thank you for the resources you gave me afterward; and thank you so much for this incredible experience. It was truly a gift.

I have had many massages over the years, but the one I just had from Ariana was the best I can remember. There is something about her that is special. If you just talk with her for a couple of minutes you can sense the great warmth and kindness of her personality. I think these personal characteristics translate into how she approaches massage. As others have mentioned, Ariana is definitely «present» and focused on you for the entire session. Her technique is a wonderful blend of Swedish and Deep Tissue massage that is incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. I really like the way she works on one area and then goes back over areas that she has previously worked on. And since my major issues are my lower back, I particularly appreciate that she was not afraid to massage the glutes and hamstrings (which many other massage therapists are for reasons I don’t completely understand) because one cannot really address back issues without doing that (the low back muscles are all connected there). And I would add, she did this in an incredibly professional and respectful way. One last thing, while I am sure the one hour massage is great, I opted for the two hour session and it made all the difference. In the future, I will stick with at least the two hour sessions – I would love to try an even longer session when I have time. I really cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Ariana! She has my highest recommendation!

The massage I had from Ariana today was nothing short of amazing. I can’t remember the last time my body felt this relaxed.
Ariana is really warm and personable and made me feel extremely comfortable during my massage. This was my first time getting professional body work done and she patiently answered all of my questions and explained the process to me.
I could tell that she really enjoys what she does and that she wanted to make sure I had the best experience possible. I was also impressed with the fact that anytime I wanted to make an adjustment to the temperature or anything at all during the massage she was more than happy to so.

I found this place through Unilocal,and was very happy to discover it was in my neighborhood. I appreciate that Ariana integrated the information that I gave her prior to my massage and that she encouraged my to give more feedback as needed during the massage. Her website is very detailed, and made me feel better about trying a new massage place. Also, the view from the massage room is lovely for gazing out at in your after massage haze. I’m new to the East Bay and have been searching for a masseuse like Ariana for over 6 months! I visited her studio on Saturday, July 11^th for a 3hr massage and had an AMAZING experience. She is welcoming, professional, and outstanding at her job. Ariana goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable, from the lighting in the room to the temperature of the table. I found the heated table to be extra comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the eye pillow she offers. It isn’t difficult to find a good experience, but finding someone as special as Ariana isn’t something you come by often. I wasn’t able to leave the studio without scheduling my second appointment for next week. Highest recommendation!

I can’t say enough positive things about my massage with Ariana. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. She is a total PRO – she clearly has a deep understanding of anatomy and human physiology, and it shows. Her care, attention, and intuition come through very clearly through her healing touch. I have found the one!
No, no, not love, MASSAGE.
I can only afford to get a few massages a year, but in a way, that makes each one even more important. The last few years I have not been able to find a «perfect» massage. I have had some massages that were relaxing in the moment, but didn’t really work any knots or kinks out. I have had some that definitely were more therapeutic but didn’t feel good while I was getting them. Surely I can get both?
Well, Ariana at Present Touch Massage is the answer to my prayers.
First up, she runs her business in a very professional, communicative manner (including pro-​actively changing the location of our scheduled massage when she realized there would be disruptive construction noise at her main site), her website is nicely detailed, and her online scheduling system is easy to use.
Secondly, she has, as other people here have noted, a lovely, warm, engaging manner. Look, the truth is, if I’m going to spend an hour plus with my middle-​aged body naked and being rubbed by someone, I have to have at least some kind of feeling of trust/​warmth/​liking — and I immediately felt comfortable and trusting in Ariana’s presence.
Thirdly, she listens really well. I told her my areas of concern and the amount of pressure and boy did she get it! The massage pressure was perfect (and she checked in several times to make sure it was still working for me), and she really focused on the areas I mentioned needed extra attention.
Finally, while I woke up today with everything feeling re-​aligned and loose and wonderful, I also really enjoyed the massage itself. She managed to get in there strongly and work out all my kinks and quirks, but somehow intuitively managed to get that correct balance between therapeutic and just plain in-​the-​moment blissful.
I will definitely, definitely be back to Present Touch and Ariana, and recommend her highly to everyone. Here’s to finding «The One!»

Look, let’s just sum it up. Ariana is a fantastic MT. About 15 minutes into my first appointment I warned her I might just start sobbing with joy. I was so grateful to have found her.
Some background: I’d been having regular body work done for years by an amazing CMT who has since retired from the massage game. I’ve been trying to find a new one for almost a year and I can finally say my search is over.
Ariana is strong, intuitive, sensitive to what the body needs, and communicative. She’s sweet and approachable and has that key ability to make you feel calm and at ease. She has exactly the qualities i hope for in a perfect massage therapist. Add to that the fact that her studio is lovely. A good space is very important to me and Ariana’s is comfortable, relaxed, and peaceful.
I’m so happy that I can get back to getting regular (awesome) massages with someone as skilled as Ariana.

Ariana gave me exactly the massage I asked for. She even changed the music to suit my mood. My shoulders and neck were really tense before I came in here — Ariana really took care of that. I will definitely be back.

Ive received two great massages from Ariana and more time is definitely better.
She plays neat music.
She follows the flow of my breath and adjusts the pressure she’s giving to my precise request. She’s great at communication.
She is blessed with great hands. Really — her thumbs ran through my muscles like luxury yachts through some friendly harbor.
When I’m on her table, I can let go and relax.
My advice to you is: accept a hot towel at the end of the massage — it’s just luxurious.
