Food: — Bacon wrapped hot dogs with grilled onions and you can add whatever condiments you like. This was delicious! It tastes as good as it sounds! I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture! 5⁄5 Service: This was pretty much one guy with a grill and a table filled with condiments. No service needed. Final Thoughts: I love street food! I would definitely come back for another hot dog.

It’s 2 am in the morning and you are on your way home after a bar crawl in Uptown Oakland. What and where would you stop for a snack? A snack that may absorb the delicious libations you’re enjoyed on your crawl? Well, you need not venture too far if you are on Telegraph… Just look for the crowd outside the Somar’s Lounge where you will find Prince’s hot dog stand! Hot dogs grilled on the side of sliced onions also grilling. Crispy fried bacon will accompany the grilled link and onions in soft roll. Chips and soda if you want! And there is a table with all the condiments you can think of! If I’m not mistaken he sets up grilling around the 10 pm hour and continues until he’s taken care of the many looking for grub after a fun filled bar crawling evening

When you are boozed up in Uptown Oaktown, and need to fill up with grub before the drive out, stop by and see Prince! He’s keeping it real on the Broadway corridor just outside Somar’s, just in front of 1729 Broadway. They are there Friday and Saturday or anytime there is a show at the nearby Fox Theater. Get your dogs, Dog, and your Hot Links, too! Add chips and soda for a buck, from B.E., the quiet one. Prince may have taken a holiday, because he is a SeaHawks fan, or at least supporting Marshawn, who is from West Oakland!
