Puff ‘n Stuff Head Shop

GREAT STORE!!! Have a ton of stuff with VERY Reasonable prices I would highly recommend stopping at this place if you’re in the market for a head shop. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and eager to help and they gave me an excellent price on my rig.

This is an awesome little headshop, they have a great selection of goods to suit everyones counterculture needs and they provide them at decent prices. I usually stop in here for papers, wraps, and pre-​rolled cones, but I have been known to also purchase vaporizers and glassware on occasion. It’s amazing how many varieties (At Least 35 – 50 Types) of papers they have on the shelves, and at such cheap prices ($ 1-​$ 4). I bought a small glass waterpipe here with an extra bowl for $ 25, and as far as I’m concerned, it was well worth the price, it was a brightly colored heavy duty piece that would still be around, if it hadn’t been for my dumba** roommate and his clumsy feet, anyways that’s a different matter. Anything you buy here will last a while if you care for it properly, I’ve been using the same oil pen for over a year now and it was the best investment I’ve made in a while, considering that this place gives a discount for Medical Patients. Bring your recommendation and save some money.

Great selection, great prices, great service! Came here a couple of months ago looking for some pieces we had broken, and they were great off the bat! Helped us to make sure we go the right sizes and such, and let us know if they were wrong, we could come back for an exchange. Considering this is also minutes from my house, this is definitely my go to smoke shop!

Pretty nice little show with a variety of things. Prices are average amongst other shops I’ve been to.

Great selection. Good prices. This old-​school head shop has been around since 1976 so that’s pretty cool. Sketchy neighborhood but not dangerous.
No cat poop smell, no cat hair (some of the other reviews mentioned those) just a mellow older hippy guy who didn’t try to sell me anything but when I had chosen what I wanted he immediately responded and then offered a 10% discount for showing medi-​card.
I am happy. Will return next time we need supplies.

Was searching for the now-​elusive fresh donut when I came up to this joint. I had been reading about it on Unilocal so why not get that h2o glass pipe I’ve been needing. They were doing a heady business on this Saturday avenue yet the women had enough time to help us pick up our tools one-​by-​one at the locked cases. Yes, it did smell like damp cat litter with a little cabbage thrown in for good measure – minus star.
Plus 1 star for giving me a discount for my canna-​card (10% or so).

Five stars for being one of the true pioneers of the «herbal» industry… This place is a throw back to the original cheech and chong days. When Puff ‘n Stuff first opened it’s doors in 1976, these kind of shops were kept sort of under the radar. The fines and penalities were more serious in seventies and eighties. Regardless, it was the height of the Mack and Pimp era in Oakland… So this little head shop fit right in with the culture.
Puff ‘n Stuff sits next door to the Oakland Hells Angels headuarters on foothill blvd in East Oakland. So watch that eyeballing down here…
Despite being a small and cramped space, they have a good selection of paraphenalia. Plus, they beat all that «Oaksterdam» nonsense by like 30 years… These guys are the true OG’s of the game, and their name is still the best in the bay. I think I’ll go down there to see if they are selling any T-​shirts. Keep on, keeping on… Puff ‘n Stuff.

Puff ‘n Stuff is one of them places you find by mistake and when you leave all you can thinks is. «Did that really just happen? What the hell was that?»
You walk in to this spot and it smells of cat poop and steal air. Its about as big as a closet and has just enough pipes to get the job done.
The workers are super funny. They told me a story about a dude who calls up every now and then, asks all these sexual questions while breathing heavy. Oh, yes they have a small selection of porn and «adult» items. WIN WIN right?
Overall its a great spot to pick up a pipe, some ultra love me long time lube, and cat hair!

Oh, man.
I stopped in here to do a little shopping of the stocking-​stuffer variety. Two well-​worn white hippie ladies run the place, and let’s just say this is really the perfect business for them! It’s usually bustling here, in a mellow sort of way. Everything moves verrrrrrrrrry sloooooowwwwwwwly, and everyone appears to be just fine with that, customers and workers alike.
They’ve got all the smoking supplies you need and then some, and are helpful and kind. I’ve taken friends there numerous times and it seems each visit is its own adventure. So put on your adventure pants and check it out. Afterward you can have a hot dog at 2 Dog down the street, or enjoy one of the many good taco trucks around.
