This is my absolute favorite store. The aesthetic is perfect for me, which never happens. Everything comes in larger sizes, which never happens. Everything is made by independent artisans instead of sweatshop slaves, almost everything is affordable, the owner Kate and her staff are always welcoming and helpful and pleasant, the space is chic and makes me want to return over and over. It’s hard not to go every weekend and blow my all my dollars on jewelry and clothes! But sometimes I need to go elsewhere and focus on solid basics, lest everything in my wardrobe end up screenprinted with some awesome design and then I can’t wear any of it together.

Such a cute shop with artisan jewelry, clothing, etc. and a bit of a southwest feel. Many local artists including bunnycone designs(contemporary jewelry). Bought a Mexican blanket for my bed and will be back in the future for gifts. Kate has great taste, & her mix of old and new, classic and modern is fun to explore.

Resurrect saved my ass when I got an unexpected text at a friend’s birthday party asking me to go to another party which would carry overnight. I needed an outfit and some overnight supplies STAT and I didn’t want to break the bank or buy something I’d never wear again. Everyone who knows me understands I have a deep love for rompers and jumpsuits… basically onesies in general are a favorite with me LOL. I was rocking that look WAY before the trend took off and now I’m just happy they are easier to find! I scored an amazing jumpsuit to add to my collection(I’ve got over 50) for $ 24 at Resurrect. It is absolutely adorable, goes fantastically with a lot of my accessories, fits perfectly and is comfortable. Everyone has loved it and it is destined to be a new favorite. I love the vintage feel of the shop and that everything is made in the USA. Things are mindfully selected and crafted and nothing looks or feels like it’s trying too hard or will quickly become dated by the next trend. The space is really maximized to it’s full potential and the customer service is helpful without being overly solicitous.

After a bad experience with the store, Kate(the owner) COMPLETELY handled it like a true professional. She was graceful and apologetic. I can’t say enough nice things about her. And I’m looking forward to going back.

It is so hard for me to walk out of this shop without a shopping bag in my hand :). I love their selection of vintage and local clothing, and also really appreciate that they carry a selection in a variety of sizes compared to other vintage shops on the block. I even bought all of my bridesmaids’ gifts here — a dainty heart-shaped ring in gold and silver from a Walnut Creek designer. I liked it so much, I actually came back and bought one for myself, hehe. Hey, now we all match! Such an awesome, unique shop of well-made and unique goods. It’s a well-loved space on Piedmont.

Great customer service and the nicest owner! Kate was really easy to approach and was really informative on her designs and inspirations. She told me of her travels in getting her store and clothing’s together and also helped me pick out a few western shirts and mens tee-shirts. It’s truly hard to find an independent vintage clothing store that actually has good men’s clothing designs. A++ on the selection and service!

The store is adorable with an interesting mix of clothes and accessories. The lady behind the counter was very pleasant. They carry clip on bow ties, which is great when even youtube can’t teach you how to tie one.

Kate is the sweetest! so many great one of a kind vintage finds, and hand made local wears as well. I have a small Oakland based clothing label that is for sale at Resurrect. Kate is a dream to consign with! She treats her artists like gold. Support this amazing Oakland gem.

This is a neat little boutique that sells clothing and jewelry from local designers. The t-shirts originally brought me into the shop, but my main focus was the necklaces, bracelets, and other intriguing baubles. So many cute little adornments to pretty yourself up. Unfortunately, everything that caught my eye was a bit too expensive for my budget. Perhaps one day, I will buy that $ 50 pair of dangly beaded earrings.

LOVED this store. Ill definitely be stopping in more often to check out the owner’s finds. Cute one of a kind items for festivals and burning man too. Prices are very reasonable for such crafty clothing. Ask to see the dress sewn from real leaves. Nice to meet you Kate!

Happened in on A Sunday afternoon and was promptly greeted by very friendly people who offered me Mimosas, yes thank you !, and compliments on my skirt, thank you again ! Very nice staff and good selection. They have amazing tote bags that look to be hand made and at such a great price. Also an incredible and low priced selection of hand tooled purses that had me drooling. I bought a really pretty embroidered Mexican skirt and white flower earrings. Looking forward to coming back again. Nice addition to the local vintage shops.

Perfect spot for fans of hip vintage and modern jewelry from up-and-coming designers. Kate has an eye for interesting pieces especially where the American Southwest meets old world European. It’s her style and it works. Excellent price points for gifting, and maybe picking up a treasure for yourself.

When you first walk in to Resurrect on Piedmont Ave., you get a sense that ‘this is not your MOM’s vintage store’! There are amazing vintage pieces(including some museum-quality items), and a bunch of other fun & funky items. Resurrect has its own design line, handmade & unique clothing that’s sustainably sourced and really quite interesting… and it’s actually affordable. There are some pieces under $ 20! There are art & design objects, handmade artisan jewelry, and the walls serve as a gallery for local artists! Seriously… I fell in love with this place within the first 30 seconds of being there. There is a little bit of a hipster aesthetic(think Victoriana meets classic American Southwest), but without the all the hipster attitude… the proprietress was there and she is super friendly and willing to help. I kind of have a crush on her… she’s adorable. She took the time to talk to me and help me pick some things out, without making me feel like I was being followed! This place is charming and very unique… I’m in love!
