What’s up with this place? They offer avocado but doesn’t show they charge you extra. Been coming here lately after McD dropped the premium wraps and Raspberry sweet tea from their menus. So when I saw they offer avocados I would add it to my sandwiches. But today they charged me .75 cents while the other days they didn’t. I hope this was a mistake or the should put the extra charge on their signs. Also this place needs a doorbell because it took a few minutes for someone to come out from the back even after I called out. Update: 10⁄14 I went back and asked the same server who didn’t charge me before for the avocado, and asked if they do charge and he said yes. I asked him where on the sign does it say that and he shrugged. Update: Went back on 10⁄15 and it’s closed with a big red sign. Didn’t read it, that doesn’t look good.

This Subway is not the best… The bread is always dry, they skimp on the sandwiches and the service isn’t great. I’d try another place if I were you.

The workers don’t want to answer questions. Period. It feels like a check cashing store vibe. Dog came in and all pretended not to see. Yuk.

it’s subway. how hard is that to mess up!!! well when you make a big fuss about me asking if a meal comes with two cookies when you only gave me one(just wondering not demanding) and then proceed to turn around and discuss it with your coworker in front of me who proclaims that i have to ask for the meal before if i want the two cookies, but you’ll charge me the meal price without informing me of this little rule… methinks not. methinks i’ll go to the subway by my house from now on. saves me the hassle of trying to find a place to lock my bike down on and dealing with a stampede of hormone raging teenagers from across the street, so thank you!

I have been to this place 4 times and have now given up and taken to going to Quizno’s or the subway in emeryville. Aside from the obious drawbacks about the location being in a parking lot across from a high school and having a small parking lot this place has bad customer service. This place is frequently out of bread from 2−6PM and the staff is unwilling to help out the customer or even issue an apology for this. They are also the only subway store I have been to that charges extra just to get a sandwich toasted. Seriously? I have also experienced the staff, who DO speak english pretending they do not whenever it is convenient or them; ie: a complaint is made or they get an order wrong. Needs serious customer service help and to get off their high horse in charging 50 cents to toast a piece of bread.

honey oat bread, veggie patty, chipotle sauce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, spinach(yeah, that’s where it’s at!), olives, jalapenos. and I’m happy. The down side to this location: at 12:20 in the afternoon today, all the bread was baking in the oven and the only thing available was Italian. Come on, guys — it’s lunch time!

I don’t know why but I LOVESUBWAY! This location doesn’t fare very well for me though… The same guy works there everytime I go in there and he is expressionless. That is beside the point though, the guy that works there skimps on the mayonnaise every time! If I ask for more he gives me this look that I’m guessing is supposed to make me feel bad? Well, it doesn’t. Then, I always ask for LIGHT mustard and he always squeezes like half a bottle onto my sandwich! Why can’t he do that with the mayonnaise?!? Everytime I ask for extra onions he puts on like 3 pieces at a time so I have to keep asking for more. He may hate onions, doesn’t mean that no one else should eat them! On numerous occassions I’ve seen them make dry sandwiches for people that do want the condiments. They don’t ask what YOU want and then they just throw the whole thing together without letting you tell them what you want, and wrap it shut. Until that person asks if there’s mayo/mustart on it. … Then they unwrap it and make it messier than it already is, squeeze some stuff in it, then throw it all together again… When you go to this location, just be careful and keep an eye on them. Make sure you tell them loud and clear what you want! Oh, and parking in that little lot can be a real«B» sometimes… I haven’t been here in almost 2 years. The last time I went in, they were charging to have the bread toasted. I won’t go to this location anymore…

Pardon me as I am a little tipsy! So I’m off to my new job(read Ali Baba). I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am to step out of the Guardian box. The place is great if only I had a SF desk… Anyway I have completely drop out of the glamore job spot and stepped in to labor work. I drop signs in the ground for realestate agents now. The company is called Sign Setters. Now I know that sticking signs in the ground isn’t THE career move but it sure does beat the world of sales for a summer. Can I just tell you how funny it is that they reallly wanted a «guy from the hood» to do the oakland route? They talk about going to to my old ‘hood like its the end of the world. Don’t get me wrong I think they have something to worry about while sitting on on the corner of 94th and Plymouth but I don’t think they get the fact that I feel the same way in Danville… While dropping signs in the ground I like to stop and grab a sub to keep me on the up and up. I walk in to Subway and hear this teacher from Tech High School talking about how the kid outside has a father that calls the school weekly to check on his boy. He has been keeping close tabs on his basketball star. I wish someone had been keeping tabs on me. Maybe I would be bouncing the ball for a NBA team. After nuking my bacon for a BLT(Yeah I eat PORK!!) She tells me the same lady said last week that«these kids are a waste of time». Funnty that the parents care and not the teachers…
