Damn. Huge store. Guy grilling meat in parking lot. Someone selling tamales at the door. Counter with hit Mexican food — meats, beans, rice, sugary drinks. Piles of pig parts — several kinds of chicharones, face pieces, liver, mystery organs. Lots of queso fresco, fresh peppers, tunas, nopales, etc. Containers of somewhat pricey peeled fruit, some with chile. Last time there were several kinds of achiote paste and this time just one and I passed because it had food coloring. Wish there were some organic options. With how huge the effects of pesticides are in the Latino community it would be great if they carried some organic produce. Often there isn’t a price difference.
