My go-to taco truck in Oakland. They even have small salsa containers so you can add as little or much as you want! Practically perfect in every way

This is my favorite taco truck in Oakland, as of right now. There’s A LOT of taco trucks out here, and I have only been to a few, but this one is worth grabbin you a burrito from at least once. They have 1 of the best steak(or carne assada) burritos i’ve ever had. Its a little on the salty side, but other than that, the shit is A+. I get a steak burrito from here every week. The cooks are pretty cool, too.

This is the best taco truck I have found yet, you will not be disappointed! I have never ordered a burrito here, but the carnitas tacos are the bomb. My boyfriend always gets the carne asada and is equally as pleased. The meat is fresh and tastes very«home-style,» not the greasy crap you get at other taco trucks. I usually request extra radish, pickled carrot, and jalapenos to bolster the flavor… and extra salsa of course!

Tacos Alonzo has been one of my favorite spots for fish tacos. But when we went there on a recent Saturday morning, we found no fish. The man in charge explained that there was no fish due to the fragility of the seafood, and their wish to serve only good– quality fish. At least I think that is what he said. My Spanish skills just aren’t what they should be. Disappointed, I decided to try the chicken tacos. I wasn’t sorry. The chicken was all breast meat, stewed and flavorful. Condiments included the usual radish and lime, and a choice of red or green salsa in plastic squeeze bottles. This is the typical taco truck experience. The truck is parked in the lot of a market at Mitchell and Foothill, and there’s a table mounted on a post so that you can stand and eat your taco in the parking lot.
