We hired the Rusty String Express based on their positive reviews and hearing a few songs online, and they truly delivered all that others had said. Working with them leading up to the wedding was easy. Alison was patient with my many questions and always had great ideas on songs we might like. We used their original music for our wedding processional and recessional, and it was perfect — exactly what we wanted. They continued to play during our cocktail hour, and everyone LOVED their sound, their cool instruments and upbeat attitude. We would highly recommend them and would hire them again if the occasion arises.

Hire The Rusty Strings Express for your occasion today! Every detail about working with Alison was flawless and efficient. The band’s music was moving and exceptionally impressive. The ability to transport you back in time, then throw in modern pieces that rock on strings is a rare gift… IMPRESSIVE! The band learned a new song to help make our special day even more special. They felt more like guests with their warm presence and hiring them will make any occasion a setting to be remembered.

I couldn’t have had a better experience with the Rusty String Express! Their music was perfect for our rustic wedding, and I received several compliments from our guests. My only regret is not having them play longer. Alison is extremely sweet and accommodating, and their music is phenomenal.
If you’re considering them for your wedding, you won’t be disappointed!

We were fortunate enough to find The Rusty String Express for our wedding. After searching & searching for a bluegrass style band we happened to see them performing at Lagunitas. Our guests are still raving about the music, I only wish we could have had them play longer… I guess we’ll just have to throw another party, so we can have The Rusty String Express play again. A hidden gem, worth every penny and then some!
