The iced coffee is pretty good, and the waffles are okay, but this place is ridiculously expensive and doesn’t really offer too much of the wow factor. Although I must say, it is vegan, and the people are friendly. The peanut butter cups are also pretty good. But all in all it’s pretty underwhelming.

I’m a fan of Timeless Coffee. So happy to find a delicious coffee roaster along Piedmont Ave. They roast their beans on the lighter side, so be prepared for some high octane caffeine action. Flavors aren’t as robust as other roasters, given the lighter roasting, although this is with an n = 1 sample size. The guy was really helpful in helping out the customers decide on a coffee of choice, and it was amusing when a lady asked for something not as caffeinated, only to discover the lighter roasting profiles. haha, good stuff! A good number of tables, and it seems from the pics that they might have outside seating during the day. Space is clean, and it’s not too noisy, given the customer flow. All of these food pics are making me salivate. I’ll definitely have to get more coffee here again and maybe try out their pastries too!

If you want to see hip people then check out this spot. Lots of beards and not too many man buns; clearly this crowd has escaped some 2k15 fashion trends. Check out this place if you want to check out chic urban #trends this SS2k16. Ethiopian bean was expensive – exactly the way I like my coffee. Awesome flavor by accidentally put soy milk in my coffee. Is this place entirely vegan? Damn… Thinking about that«cream cheese» breakfast roll now… Was I duped? At least coffee is vegan

The pumpkin cheesecake is delightful! This is not an easy feat to accomplish, as it is gluten-free and vegan. I knocked off one star because out of all of the dessert options that they have only one or two are gluten-free. If there were more options, then this place could potentially give Mariposa baking Company a run for its money taste-wise. As agreed upon with another reviewer, there is no way to tell whether or not this place is vegan. You have to ask. In fact, everything there is vegan.

Is it too late now to say sorry? I was getting my nails done nearby and stop by from the Timeless reviews from my fellow Unilocalers. Timeless has a great hipster touch to Piedmont. From extremely trendy baristas, the fancy display espresso machines, and of course the woodsy/modern furniture. Here are the items we ordered 1) americano 2) hot chocolate 3) tater tot fritta 4) carrot cake All items are vegan friendly. Great, works well with different palettes and health conscious lifes styles. Americano, simple with a roasty kick. I loved it. Hot chocolate was ordered by my friend, not my cup of drink. Food items, a little pricy for just plain mediocre. I did not enjoy any of the items. I don’t think we even finished them. Why just two stars? Here is why. I think I expected more Piedmont love from Timeless. The barista(s) was not very helpful in recommending us food items. We had to ask for to warm up the fritta, and when we asked to have the carrot cake warmed too, her response of «No» was so quick I didn’t complete my question. I don’t think that’s necessary. A little«Unfortunately, we cannot heat up sweet items would’ve suffice». When we were sitting, we saw the same barista heating up some soy milk in the steamer. Since she made too much, she poured the soy milk back into the milk carton. What?! Is that sanitary? I was a little confused. I don’t think I’ll be coming again. My americano was great, but everything else wasn’t up to par.

I had a moment of «Where the eff am I?» on a Sunday morning in peaceful Piedmont Ave. I had only just come the day before and it definitely was such a different vibe, but come on, kind of my fault. It is a Sunday, and people are SERIOUS about brunch, real serious. I just really felt like I was in an episode of Portlandia, Bay Area Edition, and it just confused me so, but then, it really shouldn’t have. As a classic hipster café, there is no wifi, as it should be, so just be aware of that. Fortunately, I came to just finish writing cards. The staff was you know, lukewarm, but like not unfriendly. I think what I was so not into was the fact that I misunderstood the Chicken & Waffle on the Special as like real Chicken & Waffles, but alas, it was vegan. I should’ve…realized. And paying over $ 10 that was not very yummy was not the business. There was something else that I’ve tried on the menu and it was not notable nor very yummy. My brother did not dig their pizza. The coffee was good. It just gets like uncomfortably crowded on weekends. With limited seating, it’s pretty overwhelming. I would recommend visiting on the weekday or during the day for a more relaxing time.

I think I asked my brother who took me here at least five times if he was sure that all this place was Vegan. I visited the coffee shop on a Sunday when they had a chicken and waffle special. I was sitting close to the counter so I could see the finished product and my eyes were totally doubtful that it was in fact Vegan. It looked just like real chicken and dairy-filled waffles. I have no idea how they pulled that off but I was impressed. I didn’t get to try it since I was in the mood for desert. All of the product in the display case looked amazing. I am still blown away that it is all Vegan and I did try to Pecan pie and the scone both of which were deeeeliscious!!!

The food here definitely gets a 5 star rating! The options are endless for vegans and as delicious as they look. It’s an amazing feeling walking in somewhere, when you’re used to either dreading finding something you can eat/sub par substitutions to your favorite sweets. The atmosphere was also great. Super cute, chill vibe. Went on a Saturday morning but didn

This place has got the goods. And thanks to fellow Unilocaler John B., I’ve found my new favorite place for a cup of coffee and deliciously flaky(vegan?!) pastries. Located around the Piedmont area in North Oakland, Timeless Coffee has a gorgeous and modest storefront and a timeless black, white and wooden interior. People are hanging out in store, chatting with friends or taking a quick break out front. The seating is limited and minimal, but enough for a late afternoon crowd. The workers are on the young adult side, and very willing to help out. Also, side note: any time you step into a coffee shop that roasts their own coffee, just KNOW they know what they’re doing. I ordered a Cappuccino with almond milk(love how they only serve almond or soy milk). It was definitely a warm and comforting cup of coffee, carefully prepared with a nice heart on top. I didn’t know what pastry to treat myself to, but I couldn’t say no to the cheesecake. All items are vegan here, which is nice since they don’t boast about it and still manage to make all of their goods loved by customers. The Cherry Cheesecake was one of the BEST I’ve had, I have to admit. I wanted something a little light and not too heavy, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Fresh fruit on top, nice and creamy whipped-like cream, and a not-too-dense not-too-thin cheesecake filling. The graham cracker crust was nice and flaky, and fell apart wonderfully. It wasn’t too tart or too sweet and was perfectly delicious.(I don’t indulge often, but this was suchhhhh a perfect bite!) Good coffee. Good pastries. Nice and calm space to spend some time. Only vice is that they don’t have wifi, but I suppose that keeps people from staying in and forces you to have good conversation or alone time. This place definitely proves vegan eats are still delicious. Timeless is simple, feels effortless, and they sure make some smoooooth coffee. I am officially a fan. ($ 3.75 for Capp and $ 4.75 for Cheesecake.)
