USI Weather Seal Insulation

USI Weather Seal Insulation is a disaster. If you like to pay a couple thousand dollars and chase around your crew for the day, then this is the company for you. If that does not sound like fun, do like Dan S. said and STAY AWAY!!! The one star is for the 2 man crew that FINALLY showed up to do our job. They stayed late and made sure the job was done and we really appreciate that. But just to get to the final product was such a crazy production.
We contracted them to also do blow in insulation. They were suppose to come on December 23^rd for the entire day starting at 8am. We received a call Tuesday night saying they can not come out the next day because they have to finish a job elsewhere. They rescheduled us for the next Wednesday, December 30^th. OK, fine, whatever. December 30^th rolls around, we are up and waiting for them at 8am. Nothing. I call at 9:00am and I am told that they are finishing a small job and will be there mid-​morning. OK, fine, whatever. 11:00am rolls around, I call again. We are then told that the foreman hurt his back, but that a crew will be coming out early afternoon. 2:30pm rolls around and I call again. I am told that a crew is on their way to clear out the old insulation and that they will come tomorrow (December 31^st) at 8am and finish the job. One guy shows up around 3:00pm and pulls out most of the insulation. Good, finally, we are getting somewhere! Thursday, December 31^st rolls around, we are up at 8am. We receive a call from a crew member saying that no one showed up to work that day (what?!) and that they need to reschedule for Monday, January 4^th. At this point, we can no longer take off from work and Monday is an unacceptable day for us. We are now currently without insulation on the 2^nd floor and can’t take off any more work days. I call their customer service line and tell the woman what happened. She was sympathetic to my complaints but offered no real solutions to our problem.
I told her the next day we have off is MLK Day and we need to be scheduled for that day, no exceptions. We also contacted our sales rep and he said he would make sure we were on the schedule for MLK Day and look into a discount for us. OK, now we’re talking. We received a call on Friday to confirm our Monday, MLK Day appointment. MLK Day arrives… we know better now not to wake up early at 8am. We wake up, no sign of a crew, and call them. After many attempts at trying to reach someone in the office, we finally get a hold of a person who says we are on the schedule but no crew is assigned to us. At this point all I can do is laugh and feel like I am being trolled by an insulation company. The woman says she will look in to it. We get a call back from her, and she tells us a crew is on their way, they were having trouble with their truck. LIES! Which story are you really going with? Show me the receipts! The crew finally shows up at 11am, and is here until 8pm, when the job is FINALLY finished.
And oh yeah, remember that discount we were promised? We never received it and our credit card was charged the full remaining balance. Thanks for nothing USI!

STAY AWAY!!! They are a disaster. I contracted with them to blow in insullation. They were supposed to show up to do the work first thing Tuesday morning at 8am. Tuesday morning they tell me they will come over at 1pm. At 12:40pm I receive a call that they cannot make it at all and will have to reschedule for Wednesday. I am told again I will be first appointment on Wednesday and they will be over at 8am. At 8:40am I call and am told they will not be able to come until 10am. When they finally arrive and cut a hole in the wall the gentleman tells me that he cannot do the work that I contracted for. The real kicker — they tell me that they will have to charge me for a service call!!! They are a joke, incompetent and liars. Stay away from them they are terrible in every way.
