Vitz Chiropractic and Rehabilitation

I am not at all surprised to see all five star reviews. Andrea is a healer, it’s true. The first time I went in, I was 9 months pregnant and threw my back out. She put me back together and suggested a half hour session with her husband for physical therapy. He showed me what to do to keep it from happening again and how to rehabilitate myself. Now I go every few weeks to see Andrea. My dad lives in Las Vegas and has Parkinson’s disease. When he makes plans to come visit, the first thing he does is call me to figure out how many times he can see Andrea while he is here, for an adjustment. She has healing in her hands. I just left her office, my missed an appointment 2 weeks ago and have been in pain ever since, constantly trying to stretch the pain from my neck. 20 minutes at her office and no more neck pain. I am so thankful I found her!

Andrea is as awesome as it gets. I’ve been to dozens of chiropractors in the Bay Area and she is the only one who can adjust my low back. I am definitely a problem child of hers and she won’t give up! My neck become pain-​free in the last few months; and the strength work done with her and her husband, Ted, has absolutely helped with my chronic low back pain. I used to only be able to stand for about ten minutes without excruciating pain. I can now stand for long periods of time without a problem. I highly recommend her!

Andrea is great. She understands injuries and muscles and strengthening in addition to chiropractics. She’s been in this a long time and I highly recommend!

Dr. Andrea Vitz is a truly gifted healer, and I strongly recommend her. I am amazed and grateful to have found her; she actually does seem to have magic in her hands (and elbows!). I have periodically received courses of treatment from different chiropractors on both coasts over the last few decades, and while a couple of them were quite good, Dr. Vitz humbly demonstrated her far superior skills, gifts, and demeanor immediately. The relief and hope I am experiencing are life-​affirming. Not only were my primary issues powerfully addressed, she also found problems I hadn’t yet mentioned — it borders on miraculous to not have any pain in my hands after years of daily pain and unsuccessful conventional medical treatment. A few days ago I woke up and could barely lift my arms and had a sharp pain in my neck and upper back. The next two days were progressively worse until today I felt I HAD to do something. I schedule an appt and within 5 minutes of Andrea working on me I felt tremendously better. She has a great upbeat attitude and didn’t seem shy to get started. Thank you so much, Andrea!

Where is the 10 Star option? This place is just tops. You will not find a group of people that care more about getting you on the path to feeling better than you will in this office. Stellar human beings; all of them.
Dr. Andrea Vitz has taken over the practice and her heart and brand of caring match those of Dr. Michael Hirsch, her predecessor.
She puts her hands on your back and within in seconds she is tugging and massaging the exact spot that is in crisis. Her skill and intuition are her killer combo.
I always need my neck adjusted, and I’ve always sort of cringed my way through it. Not anymore. Dr. Andrea «Magic Hands» Vitz may as well be called ‘The Neck Whisperer’… I have no anxiety before she adjusts my neck. I allow myself to relax and be putty in her capable hands. And with a few twists and jerks, I am almost in tears from the relief I feel.
This is a place of healing. They take the time to prepare you for your adjustment, and then they take the time to properly soothe the spots that need it afterwards. I continue to walk out taller and straighter. Andrea has also helped me (through adjustments and advice) significantly reduce a small hump that years of bad posture and slouching had created. No bell towers for this gal anymore!

Dr. Andrea Vitz is an incredible healer. I have been to numerous physical therapists and doctors, all of whom have been stumped by my injuries. I’ve been in consistent knee pain for years, and nobody seemed to know what to do when my symptoms persisted post-​surgery and post-​PT.
Dr. Vitz, however, heard me, acknowledged that my body was needing some customized care, and intuitively knew what to do. After my first visit, I walked out of the office better than when I walked in — immediately felt major relief in ALL the parts of my body that had been hurting. I’d gone to the right doctor, finally! The next day, I truly felt like a new person.
I’ve been back to see Dr. A since my first visit and I am finally feeling like myself again. If you’ve been in pain for a while, and aren’t sure exactly what’s wrong, go see Dr. Andrea today. She helps more than I can say. The office staff is kind and professional, too. All around, a wonderful practice.

Dr Andrea bailed me out of some serious back pain and an injured rotator cuff. She’s a gifted chiropractor and healer. The office staff, especially Leslie, are all very friendly and helpful, which is huge when you’re in a lot of pain. I’m still not out of the woods yet, but I’m on the mend and feeling very grateful.

The best chiropractor in the Bay Area.

Dr Andrea Vitz is as good as it gets! She’s highly skilled, extremely personable, and very talented and intuitive with her holistic chiropractic/​body treatments. I woke up the other day with intense upper back pain, and found her via a google/​yelp search in my neighborhood, and I’m glad I did. Even though she was already quite full for the day, she fit me in for a last minute emergency appointment. I was so grateful, because I myself am a massage therapist, and was heading into work, and if it hadnt been for Dr. Vitz I wouldnt have been able to work that day. I went back again, and the 2^nd treatment was even better than the first, and I left feeling amazing and without pain. She is now my Chiropractor, and I will continue to see her regularly when needed. She also has VERY reasonable rates among chiropractors making her treatments affordable for those of us who aren’t financially wealthy. I will be recommending her to all my friends and family!

Andrea was FANTASTIC. I’d been having some terrible back and shoulder pain and she fixed me right up in only a few sessions. She also helped me identify what was causing that in the first place (bad desk set-​up at work, bad running posture). Thanks to her fantastic recommendations for changes I could make, I haven’t had to go back to her since!

Dr. Andrea is amazing. I had never been to a chiropractor before but had started getting headaches from my neck needing to be cracked. She is so sweet and fun to chat with — it’s the best type of lunch break. She is great about telling you what she is doing and making sure that your concerns are addressed. I absolutely adore her and her work is fantastic. I started going 1 – 2 times a week, but now am going once every 2 weeks and that seems to be enough. Definitely give her a shot — you won’t regret it!

I had my first office visit today and I am impressed, the office is well managed, comfortable and great customer service.
Dr. Vitz listens to you and asks questions so that she can determine what brought you in. You can tell that she truly wants to help and really cares. Once she had the information she needed to proceed treatment began utilizing specialized equipment and manual adjustments. I felt much better leaving the office then I did when I walked in. It went so well that I scheduled my second appointment for tomorrow!
I am a power lifter and hate to miss a workout and Dr. Vitz understands this and made it clear that her goal is to keep her patients active and healthy. In addition to the chiropractic treatment she also went over other factors that can exacerbate my condition, which I found extremely helpful.
I highly recommend Hirsch Chiropractic and will be referring my friends and family to Dr. Vitz.

I just went to Hirsch for the first time today. I’ve never been to a chiropractor before and seriously lucked out by finding this place. The place was extremely clean and welcoming. The staff was completely friendly and warm and Andrea is incredible! She explained everything to me in a way I totally understood. I was nervous at first, but once she got started I was completely comfortable. I already have another appointment set up and plan to go back weekly. I have found MY chiropractor for sure! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone with any need for this kind of service!

Dr. Vitz has the skill and knowledge that I appreciate in a chiropractor. She is an excellent adjuster and can explain what my body needs. I have chronic low back pain and stiffness from a herniated disc I incurred over 15 years ago. I’m currently pain free and continue to be so long as I have Dr. Vitz to take care of me.

For the past year, I have been seeing Dr. Vitz for spinal adjustments. Under her professional care, I have been virtually pain free and mobile. This is a first in A VERY LONG TIME!
Before coming to Hirsch Chiropractic, I had almost given up hope for any relief for my back, neck and shoulder pain. I came to Hirsch Chiropractic for some massage therapy. I was in a car accident years back and have struggled with migraines ever since. Before going to the Wellness Center I tried many different medications, saw a Neurologist, excluded different foods from my diet, etc. Nothing worked. I decided to give massage therapy and Chiropractic Therapy a try. I first saw, Kae Grana for massage therapy and I can’t say enough good things. She worked out all my tension and pain. She has so much knowledge on the body, mind and the healing process. She knows how to massage you just right so that too gradually sooth old injuries, work out stress tension and loosen your muscles and to help you learn about your body and how to take care of yourself. It also feels AMAZING! I’ve had massages from masseuse and it doesn’t compare. Instead of rubbing you with oil and charging you an arm and a leg, she actually works on your body. It «Hurts SO Good!» to put it correctly. She is also an awesome person. Funny, caring, knowledgeable. She is a kind soul and very personable. Love her to death.
After seeing Kae for many years, she recommended me to the Chiropractor that took over for Michael, Andrea. I didn’t know what to expect as I had never been adjusted before. She was AWESOME. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed before the cracking began. She adjusted my neck and back. I have only seen her once, but since seeing both her and Kae, my migraines are nearly gone.
Both of these ladies are amazing at what they do. They are the real deal. I recommend them to ANYONE in need of someone in their practices.

I’ve been going to Dr Hirsh for 20 years (and I’m 25!), so that says something! He is a great guy and I adore him dearly as a doctor and a friend.
Recently, Andrea Vitz has joined the team and has added SO MUCH to the practice. She has the gentle touch of a woman and the strength of a man. She’s dedicated to what she does, a hard worker, and a great person. She’s a phenomenal chiropractor and I would recommend her to everyone!!! Happy homeostasis!

I was in a car accident few years ago and michael Hirsch got me back back straigth… The spine I mean beacuse for the brain it was already hopeless…
I trust his skills, he is very talented, and his water table is the best moment of relaxtion around. I asked him to change the poster of Nemo, that you stared at while getting massaged on THE table, for the Kirkwood trail map, but he never agreed ;)
