Everything is great, tons of equipment-most of it pretty new. Hardly anyone there mid morning. The pool & spa area is old and not posh but very functional. The only blip is how nekkid the women are in the locker room. Yes, it’s a locker room, yes showers naked are to be expected, drying off, changing-live on the edge, be naked. 6 – 7 naked chicks in the jacuzzi is a bit off putting as is sitting stark naked on benches, in the steam room & sauna with nothing between you and the surface. The uptick is the chlorine will most likely kill all germs but still… kind of funky.

Screw 24 hour, or other gyms where you feel like a piece of meat or someone at a club looking to hook up. No pressure, no stares, just chill vibes, working out and doing your own thing. Love this place, plus its a good thing for our community.

Y.M.C.A! Y.M.C.A! Sorry I had to do it! It’s just that good of a song! At less I didn’t dress up like a Indian or a Police Officer. That would be kinda creepy. LOL. Doing business with the YMCA was very helpful and they provide pretty good service. Not only that, they were very very friendly. The Building Futures mentoring program is a great idea. The site coordinator are all friendly. They all have very good qualified to help you with anything. If you want any help, seek Teresa: Building Futures Regional Coordinator. Just a note: you can fax them at: They build strong kids, serving families and strong communities.
