Lindsay is an amazing coach and mentor for doula practices. I became a birth and postpartum doula, however, I did not know how to grow my practice as business. I took her workshop. She is knowledgeable, practical and experienced, and taught me how to market myself and reach new clients. She directed and made me clear how and what to do to grow my doula practices with every single details. She helped me building a website and taught me to utilize online tools to reach new clients. Taking her workshop made a significant difference and improve building my practice!

I was invited to join Lindsay’s «Foodie Mamas» group because I am a foodie and I had a 5 month old at the time. It was a really great way of meeting other moms who were pros with their second child and who could offer advice and others who were first timers like me. What was different about this group was that food was provided, not snacks, but a full meal with dessert! This was a huge plus especially during those early months when getting to cook a meal, even eat a hot meal for yourself was a real challenge. Lindsay is also a great facilitator and has a way of offering great advice as well as resources so we feel supported. Her group is highly recommended!

I joined Lindsay’s «Foodie Mamas» mother’s group. It was fantastic– she provided delicious lunches with yummy desserts and gave great support and advice. If you are thinking of joining one of her mother’s groups I highly recommend it!

When I first started working with Lindsay, I was a few months into a very stressful first year of graduate school. I had ongoing stomach aches and fatigue from poor digestion, back aches (triggered by a cramped up digestive track), persistent yeast infections, itchiness on my shoulders and felt anxious much of the time. I have been struggling with dietary problems for most of my life, and have gone through a number of diets to help with acid reflux, gas and fatigue. But with the added stress of school and the need for intense energy and concentration, I knew something had to change, and I needed support.
When I scheduled a call with Lindsay, I thought we would just be talking about what foods I should be eating– I wanted to start a cleansing diet that eliminated carbs, as I believed carbs and sugar were at the root of my chronic yeast infections and acid stomach. However I quickly saw that Lindsey’s approach is a holistic, and thorough, investigation of my life. Lindsey is incredibly knowledgable about what foods best support the needs of my body — but she also wanted to discuss my feelings about school, my relationships, my schedule and about my relationship with my body. By asking caring, probing questions and listening to my explanations, Lindsay led me to insights about how I was emotionally relating to food — which is just as important as what I am actually eating. Lindsay reminded me that, if I listen to my body, I know what foods I should and should not eat already — it is a matter of understanding my cravings to know how to give myself the foods that nourishes me, instead of make me ill.
Now, I am navigating my diet with much more clarity and control. My body is still on the path to recovery, but I now travel armed with the tools to eat correctly and take care of myself. With Lindsay’s encouragement, I have tailored the diet to fit my capabilities at this point in my life, to make sure I am making a sustainable change. I see a slow, but sure, improvement in the ways I relate to processed foods and sugars that I’ve craved throughout my life. I have high hopes moving forward and am incredibly grateful to Lindsay for helping me through this process. She is a gifted, intelligent women filled with love and I would recommend her for anyone hoping to make a change in his or her life!

We were so lucky to find Lindsay to help us adjust to new parenthood. She began helping us when our baby was one week old, and continued to support us a few days a week through his first three months. I can’t imagine those months without her help!
The list of things she helped with is really quite long and varied, and she did everything expertly and cheerfully: cooking meals, watching the baby while I napped, doing laundry, cleaning the kitchen, advising on baby care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery. Sometimes I’d suggest a list of things I’d like her help with during her shift, but if I was asleep or unavailable, she’d take initiative to do what she thought would be most helpful — and they always were! She’s very intuitive about what a new mom needs, and it was nice to have her calming, compassionate presence while I was at my most frazzled and sleep-​deprived.
It’s hard to hand your newborn baby to someone outside of your family, but I never had any doubt for his wellbeing when he was in Lindsay’s care; she’s incredibly knowledgeable, responsible, and caring. In fact, I really credit Lindsay with teaching me how to care for my baby, and giving me confidence that I can be a great mom.
Lindsay is passionate about her work as a postpartum doula, and you can see the sense of calling she has in the way she goes above and beyond in all aspects of her work. She is also incredibly professional — maintaining an accurate calendar, keeping precise billing records, always following up on phone calls and texts. You would be very lucky to have Lindsay in your home!

You can stop your search with Lindsay! We called her when our son was 6 weeks old when I was really struggling to take care of myself and our son. She came over within 24 hours of our 1^st email to meet us and see if we were a good fit and it was a godsend. She is amazing with our son and I now have very high standards for child care because of her excellent job she did with Ollie. She is knowledgeable about current research and medical information for sleeping, care and comfort and infant cues. She was able to help us understand Ollie’s cues and his needs better. She also has great intuition and was able to help get our sleep-​averse son to nap!
In addition to amazing care for our son she also was in tune with my needs as a new mama. Water would always appear at my side while breastfeeding and when I was done feeding and had passed Ollie over to be changed I would find a tidy kitchen! She was with us for 6 weeks and I would keep her until Ollie was a toddler if we could.
She is also a night and day doula which is a bit rare. We mainly did days, but we had a few nights and it was good that she was already familiar with the house and Ollie.
Hire her before she is snapped up by another family!

Lindsay was an excellent. My husband and I worked with her for our first and only child. The hospital staff said that she is one of the best doulas they have encountered and wanted her information to recommend to other patients. They were really impressed with her. She provided nonjudgmental support and was open to helping out in every way she can. She got food for my husband in the middle of labor so he didn’t have to leave my side. She was invaluable to us.
