Stay away from this company! One of the guys who cleaned my carpet (there were three) stole my wedding ring!!! (I have it back… read on!)
I was referred to this company by my neighbor. They came to the house and cleaned my carpet. I went upstairs just after they left to check my jewelry dish (next to my sink). I immediately noticed that one of my wedding bands was missing (There are three). I called the guy who came to the house and said my ring was missing and I know that one of the guys must have stolen it. He said he would call me the next morning. No calls. I called the owner Shawn the next day. I told him I just wanted the ring back and I wouldn’t file a police report if they found the ring. A few minutes later he said they found my ring in one of their 5 gallon barrels. He said he would bring by that day. No calls and no show! I called the next day and the owner said someone was bringing it by. By this point I am appalled by his behavior! I finally called today to say I would honor my promise not to report, but would appreciate a refund for the inconvenience. He said, «Why would I give you a refund?». I said, «Because one of your employees stole my ring!». He said, «File a police report. I trust my guys.». Unbelievable! I did just that and I am certain he is using all the same guys to enter into other homes!!! I also confirmed that he does not do a background check on his employees. Bad news and very dangerous!

Absolutely wonderful job. Shawn Jr and Steven are the nicest guys around, killer price, and again: FANTASTIC job! My carpet looks as good as new!

This company is all about doing the job in a hurry, taking your money and moving on. I trusted them to carpet clean my new house in Antioch on 11÷13÷10 in my absense. I was surpirsed that they were done cleaning in less than 1.5 hours (2500 sf two story home). When I visted my house after one week of cleaning, I was very disappointed. The high traffic areas like family room and stairs were still dirty and the carpets were hardly any better than before. I called the company to complain and their guys showed up 11÷23÷10 again. I was basically told that it has been too long and I must have made it dirty and wanted to charge me all over again. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND HOOVER FLOORS TO ANYONE.
