I know less about computers than I do about anything else. For me they are like a car, I put gas in it and I expect it to go. So when my MacBook Pro took a catastrophic crap at work I was a bit dismayed because I don’t know how to fix it. I got a blank screen with a flashing folder on it which I thought signaled a huge ass chewing from my wife for losing all the pictures of our kids and vacations etc. I did a quick google search and came across MacSveen. Placed a call and C.J. answered the phone and we discussed my problem and how to proceed. The best part is that he talked to me in terms that I could understand and not like my IT guy at work who has a tendency to mock those that don’t understand his particular skill. He arranged to meet me after work to pick up my machine at my house. DUDE CAME TO MY HOUSE AFTER BUSINESS HOURS TO GRAB MY COMPUTER! Kept me constantly updated with calls and text messages and in about a week had my Mac running like it was brand new. Problem solved, problem staying solved and at a much better price. Good guy, great service. Highly recommended and will use him again if need be.

I had another BIG Mac problem and I called CJ again. Same great service and prices! I will always call him first for any computer problems, I HIGHLY recommend calling CJ! A really great guy as well!

I reviewed CJ 2 years ago almost to the date. Here we are on Valentine’s Day again and CJ to the rescue. We are all cleaned up, ready to roll and again, top drawer service. As a creative floral shop owner (never serious about anything computer related) CJ knows I treat my computer like my kitchen faucet… I don’t care where the stuff comes from, I just want it to be there when I turn it on:) So he just comes in, sits down, puts up with our antics and gets the job done!
I also asked CJ to help my parents out. My 72 year old dad wanted to become computer savvy and as I said before, no knowledge here… So, I had my dad call CJ and OMG… my dad is in computer heaven! My parents love him.
To sum it up, business or personal… the best!

CJ was great for our situation. He was professional, set our expectations appropriately, and best of all, cleaned up our 3 yr old iMac so it runs like a top. And even tho the drive ultimately failed, he rescued all our pictures and music. He is on my permanent list of problem solvers.

Can’t say enough good things about CJ and his business. We lost everything on our computers and CJ helped us recover our data quickly. His rates are incredibly reasonable… a fraction of what we were being quoted by other companies. And, he runs a mobile service. So, he came and picked up our computers and brought them back. He’s a great guy who goes above and beyond, helping give us tips on how we can run our network better. And, he’s honest and trustworthy. We were thinking to hire him to do some other computer work and he actually advised us against it suggesting another route that was more cost-​effective for us in the long run. Finding a good reliable computer technician feels a lot like finding a good honest mechanic. CJ is definitely one of the best. He knows his stuff and charges an affordable rate for reliable good service. I’m not surprised that he was voted best computer tech in Contra Costa County and hope to spread the word about his business.
