This is the 2nd best pizza that I have had in south Jersey(best for me is Raymonds in Collingswood but they are only open like 4 days a week). I have tried about 15 pizzerias in and around Oaklyn(since I live here) and this is as I said, my 2nd favorite. If only they took credit and delivered, I would probably eat this twice a month. but since they dont and they dont, I eat here only when I really want pizza, actually am carrying cash, and delivery from elsewhere would take too long. Nice crust, not too greasy, excellent cheese to sauce ratio.

This place used to have the best cheese steak. Now they suck! Chicken cheese steak was the worst. Never again. There are much better places.

This place makes the blandest pizza I’ve ever tasted. Rubbery cheese that won’t stay attached to the slice, and unusually hard crust. They sauce they use is okay though. The staff is friendly, but unfortunately their pizza is very mediocre. I’d rather heat up a frozen supermarket pizza than order one from here. I hear it’s under new management now, so don’t take my word too heavily. I’ll change my review if I visit again and find improvement, but for now, my best advice would be to proceed with caution.

Will miss Gino and crew greatly ! However the new Randazzo takeover is a good one. Pizza is great and the soup is awesome!

Under new management the future looks bright. New owners — the Randazzo family — have decades of experience starting and running very successful restaurants. The Randazzo’s have a great place in Washington Township and now they are bringing new life to Sorrento’s. My wife and I ate at the new place tonight and had a great experience. The Pizza was great and we will be back to watch them update the décor and expand the space by taking over the dry cleaners next door and opening outside dinning in the heart of Collingswood.

Food was good, staff was obnoxious and very lethargic. On the fence if I will go back but if I do, it will only be because of a good cheesesteak. Speak to people like they are human beings!

It seems since the owner Gino is not there all the time and his regular crew, the quality of food has gone down and prices are up. The sauce tastes cheaper not like the sauce they were using before on the pizza’s. And I have a friend who was overcharged. She wanted sides and normally they weren’t charging for sides like pickles, pepper’s ect… So now I will be finding a new place and I think I already have.

This place looks dingy on the outside but don’t be fooled… the pizza really is that good.

This place is constantly«off» Call in for a pick up, food isn’t even cooked yet when you go to pick it up. Figured I would call ahead at lunch and give them 30 minutes to get the job done. Nope. Not even started by the time I got there(40 minutes later). I know, it was lunch time so it was probably CRAZY busy there that all must have left right before I arrived because there was only one guy at the counter receiving his order. Other than that, pizza is Okay –depends on who makes it really. Staff is awful. I literally stood at the counter(this time food actually WAS cooked before I got there) only to wait 15 minutes at the counter while someone finished up her conversation at the other end of the room. I actually called the place while standing there to ask if I could please have my food because I have been waiting. THEN, comes the courtesy. Trust me, they couldn’t care less for your business and won’t be getting anymore of mine. Asshats.

I live very close to Sorrento’s, & that being said, it’s a wonder that I’m not overweight! I love this place. The owner’s there all the time cooking himself; he & the other two guys must be straight off the boat because they have thick Italian accents. They’re very friendly, nice guys. When you go in the back to eat at a booth, there’s pictures of Frank on the wall & everything. They make outstanding pizza of any kind, their cheesesteaks are bangin’, I love the fries; I mean, what else can I say? They deliver with lightning speed(I do live close, though). My favorite pizza joint :)

Quite literally, THEBEST pizza on earth. I have had pizza all over the country, in hundreds of places in New York City, but Sorrento’s is simply the best. Their regular pizza is amazing, as well as their sicilian. Their chicken and regular cheesesteaks are also great. I mean the only steak sandwiches better are from Pat’s in Philadelphia(and no one on earth can make a better sandwich than Pat’s). Sorrento’s wings are pretty amazing too. All in all, this place is run by and operate by the owner, who is always there working with his own hands behind the counter everyday. He cares about the quality of his food, and the opinion of his customers. He is a great guy, and the type of owner that is rare nowadays! I love this place!

Good cheesteak & chicken cheesesteak. Chikn Parm not that great. French fries overcooked. Too many cooks in the kitchen. Overpriced… total cost for all the above was $ 32.75.

Nice booths at the back of a local joint. We sip soda out of those red plastic cups so many Italian schticks seem to have. The pizza glistens with cheesy grease. The sausage pizza is devoured quickly, because Sorrento’s is thee place to pick up a pie in this neighborhood. Guys behind the counter are such categorically gruff, agreeable pizza place men… just short of the stereotype. And with much better pizza.
