Santini’s New York Style Deli

Gyros are great! Pizza on the other hand tastes incredibly salty. I’ve had it multiple times and each time I feel like I’m eating salty cheese !

The sandwiches are excellent but the service is terrible. Don’t expect anyone to wait on you unless you go up to the counter and ask for service. Even then you are going to wait.
Have came here several times and it is the same great food but crappy service.
If they could learn some customer service it would be a 5 star sandwich place.

I love this place! They got great food and the service is great. The steak and cheese sandwich and steak calzone is amazing! I can definitely recommend anyone to give this place a try if new to the area.

Delicious NY Pizza. One of the best in the area if you are looking for a replacement for authentic NY pizza.

I went to Santini’s for a casual dinner on 5÷12÷16.
Although their ordering processing was a little confusing, the signs at the counter helped.
The employees were very friendly and nobody acted like they had chip or their shoulder or didn’t want to be there.
I had an eggplant sandwich. It wasn’t spectacular but it wasn’t bad either. The eggplant was deep fired but tasted like it hadn’t been sitting under a heating lamp. My husband had pizza which looked good but very greasy. If you’re trying to eat healthy I wouldn’t recommend Santini’s. Although, they offer salads in a crowded restaurant I didn’t see one person eating a salad.
The dining room is very casual but was very clean considering the restaurant was very busy.
Santini’s appeared to be a favorite neighborhood spot. I saw a lot of families.
In a nutshell, if you’re looking for something casual and find yourself in this area of Oakton it is not a bad choice as long as you’re not counting your calories.

Cheesesteaks are great. Pizza is on the greasy side. Service is below average.

Chicken Parmesan you taste so good…
Ok maybe I’m inculcated with the catchy State Farm jingle, but the phrase played over and over in my head with each succulent bite of Santini’s crusty, toasted sub roll loaded with a tender, lightly-​breaded chicken breast smothered in melted provolone with the perfect amount of piquant marinara. Ahhhhh perfection! But Santini’s charm doesn’t stop there.
On the Ides of March, I returned with my knife (and fork:-) for a Caesar salad with chicken and a Carnivoro NYstyle pizza. The Caesar dressing is on the side so that you can put as little or as much as you like – bonus! The large pizza was absolutely huge – way too big for 2. Generous zesty Italian sausage, bacon and pepperoni toppings on paper thin crust made for folding hit the spot!
If my praise isn’t enough to make your mouth water, consider that when my movers came to unload my things into my new digs in Vienna, I offered to get them lunch at Santini’s. All six of them gave two thumbs up to the delicious Chicken Parm and asked for directions to go back for dinner.

I love going to Santini’s. They have great food and excellent service! They have a great selection as well and nice soups and chili. I go about once a week because I work in the area.

Enjoyed the pizza and calzones!
A little pricey for pizza but it tasted great. Probably one of the better choices for pizza in the northern Virginia area.
Highly recommend their calzones… Very tasty.
We will be back.

Honestly I love this place. Whenever Im back in town this is a go to for me. I get their grilled chicken greek salad all the time and love it. The dressing comes on the side and there is so much chicken on the salad made fresh and hot. Love their white pizza also! Never disappointed with this place!
Got their steak and cheese one time and I don’t recommend it! But thats the only thing I didn’t like!

Discovered this place a few weeks ago and have already returned. Salads are awesome. They use fresh hot chicken breast and fresh ingredients. Also love the sandwiches. Pastrami is delicious. They use fresh bread and make everything fresh.

It may say New York, but this is not a New York deli! It’s probably decent for the area but simply wouldn’t pass the test in NY. It’s definitely serviceable, the people are nice and for an area where real NY style food is hard to come by you really can’t complain too much. The food is average the meatballs are kind of tough, the marinara is ok, the egg salad has an after taste. That’s all I’ve tried so far.
Overall, it’s not horrible given the options available, but New Yorkers may be disappointed.

Great pizza… but the steak and cheese is truly where it’s at! Anytime we didn’t feel like cooking… steak and cheese with everything! Love this place… in spite of the Yankees flag… but sadly we moved away, and I haven’t found a steak and cheese to match.

Good food, but very crowded at lunchtime during the week. Almost impossible to find parking in their small lot during the weekday lunch crowd. I only go to Santini’s on the weekend when its easier to get in and out. Love their corned beef sandwiches and also their shrimp salad. Hard to find good shrimp salad, but theirs is tasty and seasoned to perfection. I also love that they have Dr. Brown’s sodas, specifically Black Cherry, which is my favorite. Santini’s is definitely one of my favorite deli’s in Northern Virginia, especially an area that is lacking quality deli. Give it a try, especially if you are a big deli fan!

I hate seeing such a good place get bad reviews, so I decided to leave one. been eating here for years and is my go to cheesesteak for the Fairfax area. I would agree that it’s a little expensive, but I don’t mind paying a little extra for good food

Very poor service. The staff was unfriendly, the food took long, and for the price we paid, I really expected something more quality. I won’t be returning to this establishment. I walked in with a big group, and the woman at the front desk looked annoyed. Unacceptable.

Sit at the bar area and you will witness how dirty everything is, from the floor, the windows, the burnt smell coming from the toaster. Flies. Gross.

First time here last week. I have always heard great things about this place.
In my opinion it is over priced and the food is not that great.
I had the philly steak and cheese sandwich, I do not recommend it at all.
Nothing worse than craving one of these and not fulfilling that craving.

Best Ever!!! Their service is phenomenal, their food is fantastic and the Coke, OMG the Coke is so good! Idk what it is about their soda machine but it makes their Coke better than any other Coke I’ve ever had! I tell them that all the time too :)

Horrible Value! The only thing New York about this place is the ridiculous prices for pretty tiny portion sizes. Kids meal of chicken fingers — almost $ 6 and you get two little dinky pieces of chicken and maybe 2 dozen french fries. $ 3.5 for about 3 oz. of Curly Fries (or maybe 16 individual pieces). Do they care — not particularly — when I asked if this was normal, they answered «yes — but you can buy more if you like.» The pizza was decent — somewhat authentic — but my wife’s sub wasn’t anything special.
Rude snarky staff — food took forever to deliver and even then, they delivered it as individual items — we didn’t get two items together.
This occurred on Thursday at 5:00PM — one order in front of us so it really wasn’t that busy — they just didn’t like to be questioned on what I felt was poor service and poor quality.
Not returning — if you’re in the 1% and you want poor portion sizes, feel free to go — Subway across the street actually seemed appetizing in comparison! STEER CLEAR!
