Went there for dinner with my family. We got the sampler appetizer first. Everybody loved it. Then we all ordered different plates. They all wanted to come back, it was their first experience with Mediterranean food .The atmosphere was trendy, hip, and very laid back. i would rate it better but our waiter didn’t earn five stars. we had to flag him down to get dressing for our salad. i said«doesn’t our salad, come with dressing».he said“yes, why, do you want some ?”.I had to flag him over to our table three times for various reasons. Anyhow, it was a nice meal and we will be back.

Another five star visit… Came in for a late lunch, and of course my favorite place has been earned by Aladdins. Didn’t see anyone we knew right away, so our random server was Gabriel. What a delight! He almost has Maddi tied… I hate to post the tiniest things, because there are starving children in Africa(and the US), and he was great– but he could swing by a bit more often. Really, no issues. Very friendly, polite, came back and asked about my order because it is a little wacky, he did a great job– we just ran out of pita twice. We also saw Chris, and he smiled and greeted us– even though we weren’t his, he remembered us and made sure to be courteous. Food order was the same, except my dinner companion just had more hummus and skipped the Chicken Curry Roll. Apparently she thinks there is too much of some sauce, and last time she asked for very little yet she got more, and didn’t like it… maybe she should share her experiences. Hummus was excellent as usual, full cup of hot sauce, and you get two olives with the large(their olives are awesome). As usual, Baba Garden Rolled. I finally figured out I don’t like the solata. This time they gave extra greens and tomatoes as well as the olives(and a little cup of olives), and it was much fuller, and tasted great. Another excellent experience here, but I do have one little nitpick. When we were being seated, I asked if we could sit in the back, and the hostess clearly didn’t care for me asking for another seat. She didn’t get an attitude, or snotty, but her body language definitely said«then go seat yourself jerk wad» lol. The place was pretty empty, and if it isn’t impeding anyone, I want my back to a wall, a corner, and sight of the door. — — — — — — — — — — — – Since my writing of the above, I’ve been another five times… it’s hard to pass up! Unfortunately Chris has left, but I’m having good experiences with Eugene!

I am always fala-full of sadness after eating here. The falafel pitas are teeny-weeny and the service takes sooooo long, you could probably fly across the globe for authentic middle eastern food by the time your shawarma hits the table.

Visited this Aladdin’s to see if it as just as good as all of the other ones. We were certainly not disappointed. Aladdin’s really is an amazing place to eat. Whether it is in Middleburg or Oberlin or Westlake, they are all great places to have really incredible food.

It has recently become necessary for me to follow a strictly heart healthy diet and I have found that Aladdin’s has become my go to place for fast food! There’s almost nothing in here that I cannot have! I started with a small order of hummus which is by no means small; it’s definitely shareable! For my entrée I chose jasmine rice topped with chicken tenders. I do not know the proper name for the dish, I just know that it was delectable! I will be back for more because now I want to try everything!

Aladdin’s is probably my favorite go-to restaurant. I eat there, at least 1 – 2 times per week. I’ve been to every location in the Cleveland area and also in the Pittsburgh area, where I travel to frequently for work. I’ve been to Aladdin’s more than 100 times and I have NEVER left disappointed. The menu and food prep is usually consistent in all locations. I was in the area for an event and thought that I would stop in this location for a casual Sunday lunch. This was my first(and last time), at this location. I was seated by a server, who was a bit dry. There were only 5 or 6 people in the restaurant and she seated my right outside the kitchen, I placed my order, I pretty much know the menu by heart. The same server brought a basket of pita bread. The basket contained at least 8 pieces of pita triangles and each one was stale and inedible. I asked for a fresh basket, which I received a short time later. I ordered the Cranberry Walnut Salad, which is my favorite salad. The salad should contain mixed greens, lebanese salata(onions, peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers), quinoa, walnuts, cranberries and topped with feta cheese and dressed with lemon olive oil dressing. The salad that I was served included a sad serving of wilted greens, very little, if any, salata, walnuts, very few cranberries and an overwhelming amount of pine nuts(which are not supposed to be in the salad). The server informed me that they were out of feta(what!) and conveniently brought me a side of cheddar(not!). I tasted exactly 2 fork fulls and the salad tasted as sad as it looked. The dressing had absolutely no flavor, none of the lemony goodness that I’m used to. Not even sure that the salad was dressed in olive oil. The dressing tasted more like vegetable oil. I think that that whomever prepared the salad tried to compensate the absence of feta with the pine nuts. I wondered if they thought that I wouldn’t notice the difference? The server offered to have the salad re-made. I politely declined and immediately exited the restaurant and stopped at the Aladdin’s in Crocker Park, on my way home and had a meal that was worth of the Aladdin’s name.

Not sure if I wanted to have lunch when I saw the front of this place but the family was quite hungry, so we just walked in on a week day for lunch. The food was amazingly delicious. Their fresh juice was a treat and the price was very reasonable. The best item on the menu was the curry chicken pitza at $ 5.95.

In 3 years I have never been disappointed w the food. Service can be annoyingly slow. The staff is always very friendly. Their homemade mint tea is reason enough to come! The portions are generous. The food is consistently very good. What has ruffled my feathers the last few times I’ve gone is the new charge for hot sauce. Yup — 65 cents. This is an issue of principle, not the cost. I can’t stand businesses that nickle and dime customers. It’s sounds funny, but truly I am waiting for them to begin charging for the honey I request for my tea. Come on folks, can’t you just absorb the cost of the hot sauce or add a dime to each dish!!! It’s TACKY and unnecessary to itemize such minuscule items at a restaurant.

Good, fresh food, plenty of vegan options, and generally good service. Sometimes the service is slow, but overall it’s great. Food-wise, it is very good. It is also very well priced for the quality and amount of food. The only negative experience I had here was when I was on a date with my boyfriend: the waiter asked if he was paying, handing the check to him. When we said that I was paying, he made a joke about a woman paying because it’s the 21st century.

Really? You’re out of honey and there is a grocery store 100′ away. Then 10 minutes after ordering the servers says«it will be 20 – 15 minutes until your order is ready, would you like to order any appetizers?» What happened to the usual good service? They aren’t even busy! I heard one server say to another«we’re out of honey, pineapple, grapes and pine nuts but we have plenty of cigarettes»

Convenient corner location on/near the Oberlin College campus; across from a park. Easy street parking. Excellent wait staff including Sophia who waited on our table. Perfect sweet strawberry smoothie; loved that it was dairy-free. Loved the hot, well-seasoned Jasmine’s Favorite –chickpeas, beans and vegetables on top of brown rice. I ordered it topped with Lebanese Salata; I would recommend trying it with a hot topping rather than the cold salata topping. Lower price point than I am accustomed for paying for this quality of food.

I went to Aladdin’s for dinner on the night the water main in Oberlin broke – a difficult issue for restaurants to deal with because it affects not only the restrooms but also their ability to clean dishes, clean food, and thus what they are able to serve. The staff at Aladdin’s handled the issue calmly and professionally by doing their best to compensate for what they were lacking because of the water issues. For example, they had Dasani bottled water for every guest free of charge. The menu had a wide variety of clearly labeled vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. It was evident from the menu that Aladdin’s cares about their ingredients and their sources. The fruit and nut salad was very good.

This is definitely a go-to for my friends and me. We can always expect amazing food whether we dine in or get take out. Their falafel, hummus, and pita are all divine and their beef shawarma is SO good with the jasmine rice and tahini sauce. Service is quick, attentive, and not overbearing which is perfect and prices are very reasonable.

3.5÷5 Stars. I went on two separate occasions, my first time was 4 star, the second was a 3 out of 5. Having been to a LOT of restaurants in the Middle East, I took my Father here as a surprise when I was home. The hummus and tabouleh were both out of sight, but I was a bit dissapointed by the lamb my 2nd time there. It just didn’t have the spice and flavor, and the succulence it usually does. Their portions are very generous, and the cost is excellent. I was satisfied with the lamb, but I didn’t walk away savoring the aroma and flavors for a reminder until next time.

Super good! I love Aladdin’s! Item’s in the menu aren’t pretend Arabian food. It’s real. Also, I don’t know if that’s true for most Aladdin’s restaurants, but the music is genuine Arabic music. I just wish they had done more with the decorations to make it more Middle Eastern.

FANTASTICO! This place is a breath of fresh air for Oberlin, replacing a decidedly ho-hum Java Zone coffee shop that used to exist, just barely, on this corner. Aladdin’s is a small Ohio chain with almost 30 locations and we’ve actually been in the original one in Lakewood and the one in the shopping center in Westlake. Both are delightful, as is this one. We had dinner here with 11 family members and sampled a huge variety of their dishes: Greek Chicken Salad, Fattoush, Taza Chicken Salad, Greek Pitza, Sultan’s Sharwama Pitza, Aladdin’s Lamb Rolled Pita, Spicy Kafta Rolled Pita, Arayiss Pitza, Kid’s Grilled Cheese Pita, smoothies, tea and assorted Baklava for dessert. Everything was very good and enjoyed by all. Food — 4STARS Ambiance — 4STARS Location — 5STARS Service — 4STARS

Limited menu for January and full menu in February 2011 as they transition the place from Java Zone to Aladdin’s Eatery. I got the tagwook and it was delicious. Loved the place in Amherst and I will probably love this place in Oberlin as well.
