I was born and raised in Oberlin and have been coming here for most of my life. I have to say that the food is amazing and everytime I come home, I eat at Lorenzo’s. Its a good thing the food is so good. It overshadows the lackluster service I seem to receive everytime I go. My friend and I were seated and continued to sit for almost 10 mins. before I finally asked if we were going to get served. There were five different times servers walked past… looked at our empty table… amd kept going. Its very frustrating and very common to get bad service here. Its such a shame too because it is a staple in the community. I will still spend my money there but management should really get a grip on service. It seems to be getting worse and its so disappointing because good servive added to the awesome food, would definitely warrant five stars. I hope someone cares enough to address the issue and maybe get some training for the staff.

The pizza is phenomenal. The service is great. It doesn’t get much better than Lorenzo’s and the fact that it’s kind of hidden away is nice. Although that doesn’t stop it from being packed which is a good thing. It’s a Friday tradition for us whether we eat in or carry out.

The inside is small and cramped so you may have to wait awhile. The service is kinda slow and drawn out, but to their defense the place was packed when I went around Christmas time. The pizza was very good and I will go back again in the future for more. It was worth the wait.

We went to Lorenzo’s with a group of eight and everything was great! We were seated immediately and they were quite busy. Our server was friendly and efficient and the pizza was excellent! With there being eight of us, everyone ordered their pizza a different way(to include crust preference) and no one complained about anything. The beer and wine were a little pricey so I would limit these types of drinks for sure. Definitely a pizzeria to visit if you have never been. It was a perfect Saturday evening with great friends!

I’ve had Lorenzo’s pizza delivered and in-store. When you go to the restaurant, they give you salad with an amazing salad dressing. Also, I noticed a large improvement in the quality of the pizza. The delivery pizza is just okay for the price. I definitely recommend dining at the restaurant as it is much better. The lasagna is also incredible. Overall, Lorenzo’s is a good place with a good staff.

I just got the family deal! Two item large, breadstix and tea for under $ 20! As usual, delivery was fast and the pie was too hot to start eating!

Service was atrocious. Waited over 45 minutes for our food, server never even came back to give drink refills in that time. Food tasted good once we finally got it, but overall a very disappointing experience.

Went here on the request of my Mom who had a great experience her first few times. BUT, of course my luck, I didn’t walk away with much good to say. First off, I had to wait about five minutes to get greeted at the door. Finally got seated and waited about 15 minutes before I had to flag down a server who looked and acted like she smoked one too many doobies in her lifetime. She forgot our water, forgot to bring my salads. When the pizza came out, it was just so so. Crust was a bit doughy and veggies were uncooked on top. We sat by the door to the outside, which was propped open. So we had a lot of flies pestering us. YUCK! I prolly give this place a C– and would have had a better experience ordering Dominos.

I’ve been told good things about this place by others so I decided to try it for myself while in the area. «By far the best pizza I’ve ever had!» Crust, sauce, cheese amount and topping quality(pepperoni and sausage) all were amazing! Definitely will be coming back here.

Excellent pizza. With a wonderful outside eating area. It can be a little price but good pizza and food is worth it. We are here on a rainy Saturday evening with the in-laws and there is still a full house inside and people waiting to eat out side. It’s also great to order to-go too.

Before we even walked in the front door, we walked past a brick pizza oven on the back of a pickup truck. This struck me as a good pizza omen. Inside the front door is a call-in pick up area, and a wall of delicious pizza smell washed over me! It smelled like heaven. The inside has been remodeled in the last year or so, but since this was my first visit I can’t compare the two. The inside is small, and probably only seats about 30 people, but has a nice understated décor. Once we were seated and had ordered, it took a little longer than I had expected for us to receive our food… but when it arrived all past grievances were forgotten. We ordered a large pesto pizza, which was HUGE and the crust was amazing! I tend to prefer a thinner crust, but this was more hand-tossed style. It wasn’t heavy though, and had a perfect texture. The tomatoes on my pizza were a little pink/sad, but that’s what you get for ordering a pizza with fresh tomatoes in the wintertime. They have a house-made italian dressing that is AMAZING — seriously, buy a pint of it to take home! My only other complaint is that they chilled their pint glasses, which made a little ice slushie on the top of the beer. Come for the pizza, then check out the nearby shops to walk it off!

Our Friday night dinner is almost always from Lorenzo’s. Old Style pizza; Spinnato, and the antipasti salad are ‘the usuals’. Always reliable– we have ours delivered to the house. Tip the delivery guy!

The pizza here is pretty good, but the service could use some work. They are good about getting stuff to you when you order it without issue, but the waiting staff do not seem to check tables much, and we had issues every time we want to get the bill. My girlfriend is a fan of their gluten free pizza, and they don’t mind making it to order since her allergies mean that she cannot have a «normal» pizza. Even with her alterations, she loves the pizza and has trouble saving some for later(I have that same issue). As for the other food on the menu, I was not a fan of their Lasagna, which to me tasted like a bad Chef Boyardee copy, with a really small portion, but the pizza is pretty good. If you do need gluten free, be sure to call first to make sure it is in stock, they seem to usually have it, but sometimes they do run out. So better safe than sorry.

Simply great pizza, not just for a college town, but overall. I miss this stuff. The young servers are always a little frustrating to deal with, but the staff that have worked there for years are champs and super friendly. Lunch here is really affordable and hits the spot, and if you’re not right near the town lunch rush, you won’t be waiting long. When it gets busy? Well, the line can go out the door and the wait can get a little obnoxious if you are expecting fast food. It’s worth the patience.

I am writing this review because our service was really bad The busboy was better better than our waitress I cannot say anything bad about the food the food was good we had to go and get our own check because the waitress did not seem like she wanted to bring that she brought the food out then said she was going to check on us later but never showed back up

A co-worker ordered pizza for lunch today and it came from Lorenzo’s. All I heard about was how good the chicken alfredo(without chicken) pizza is at Lorenzo’s. I was skeptical, as the pizza places here just aren’t the same as back home(NYC, NJ, Philly). I was pleasantly surprised by Lorenzo’s. The pizza was very good, including the crust! I’ll try this place again!

O M G! Grrrrrreaaaaaaat pizza! The star of this pizza was the crust! Crispy on the bottom, light & dare I say, fluffy, above. UNBELIEVABLY awesome! I’ve never had a pizza with such light & not over-handled dough! The sauce, was some sort of red, I can’t say much more than that & it was topped with plenty of cheese & pepperoni. It took 25 minutes to make, which worked out fine for a pick up… I don’t know if there’s a shorter wait time for eat in. If I lived near Oberlin, I’d be eating another pizza tonight! :-)

Our first time eating here while visiting out of town family. It is on the smaller side but worth the wait. We had the meatball/breadstick appetizer, it was delicious you could tell the meatballs were homemade and the server confirmed they were. Then we had pizza for our meal. So good, not like the«chain» pizza places. Highly recommend!

This was a really fun stop on an out-and-back bike ride from Cleveland(beer is a great training and recovery drink!). The pizza was nothing amazing, but it did the trick. Sipping beer on the patio is a nice treat on a warm summer day. I have other favorites in Oberlin, but that patio and pie will lure me back on nice days.
