Balcony Gymnastics and Youth Sports Complex

My daughter and I went to balcony today in order to sign her up for gymnastics. we met Coach Denise and Michael who is the owner of the gym. They were both so friendly and very inviting to my daughter. She is usually very shy upon meeting people. they seem to bring her right out of her shell. We are so excited to start at the gym tomorrow it appears to be very clean and well-​kept and the children that were practicing seem to be very happy to be there by the smiles on all of their little faces.

We have come and gone from Balcony a few times over the years. The coach you end up with makes all the difference. You can clearly see in some of their faces that they are not engaged and sometimes irritated with some of the kids. Our last run at Balcony has not been a good one. Last week I was sitting watching my child and someone pointed to some exercise she was doing and asked who she was. A coach she previously had said «I hate that kid». I don’t expect everyone to love my kid but seriously, do you really need to single her out and say something like that in front of other students, parents, coaches and her mother? Yikes. We have done other sports and school programs with no problems but here if they don’t like you for sometimes unknown reason you and everyone will know. It’s too bad they are pretty much the only place in town. We are leaving again and this time I have learned my lesson and won’t be back.
