Cowboys Saloon

I always thought that Cowboys meant country music. Around 11:00 pm, the DJ starts playing hip hop music. The funny thing about this, is that they also have another club next door owned by the same company that plays hip hop. So why destroy a country club with hip hop music when you already have a club in the same building that already plays hip hop.

Went here for the first time tonight. I will not be coming back. The Dj was extremely rude and the bartenders were not friendly or personable in any way. No wonder it was dead.

I went to cowboys saloon with my husband because we heard all the hype on the radio about it being the best country bar around. I was especially excited because is said ladies drink free all night, so we decided to depend money on a cab so we could both drink. We got there and I find out that you get a 10 oz red solo cup, the only drinks you can have are cheap wells and bud select draft. You can’t even have shots! We ended up spending $ 200 on liquor! The bar tenders also don’t know what they are doing and can only make basic shots, one bartender even said they just became a bar tender! My husband and I ended up being pretty drunk so we asked for them to call us a cab, an hour later there was still no cab. Since my phone was dead I had to borrow someone’s phone to call my own cab service, they should at least have a cab service waiting outside at the end of the night… Now if they want to call themselves the best country bar they need to step it up. Thanks but I’ll stick to cowboys Orlando.

Nice place to have drinks dance and have fun? Hot girls in short shorts and cowboy boots! 18 and up welcome 21 to drink? Wednesday night is ladies night!!! They have a mechanical bull inside and sometimes a bikini bull ride contest! The barbecue guy outside has awesome food great drunk food.

I went to cowboys for the first time on a Saturday night. My boyfriend and I had 15 others come along with us. The bar is really big and clean. The atmosphere is very laid back and fun. The bathrooms were very sanitary and the bathroom attendant was very kind. My only complaint is slow service at the bar. It wasn’t a very busy night and for some reason I couldn’t help but feel like I was being avoided. As a bartender I’m always over tipping, giving three to five dollar tips per drink order, so I know that wasn’t the problem. I felt as though they were not excited to be there and they would get to me eventually. Smiles go a long way. I would come back, but coming from a small town I value and am spoiled by kind customer service, so it would be the only thing from keeping me away.

Not your typical whole in the wall bar… Great music! Great drinks! JUST what Ocala needed! Can I get a yeeeehaw!!!
