Dano at Greenway cycles was very nice and helpful at a recent transaction for me. He helped me by brokering and shipping a rare bike that I found on Ocala’s craigslist. This saved me 16 hours of driving. This was the only shop around the area that was willing to help me. Thanks again Dano!

Its not the biggest, doesn’t have largest selection, but what it does have makes up for these minor short comings.
I was camping at the Santos Mountain bike park, of course to mountain bike, when i came in need of a bike mechanic. How convenient there is a bike shop across the street. So across the street i go and what a pleasant trip it was.
Before I entered I was courteously greeted and asked what was needed. Within a couple minutes my bike was on the rack and being worked on. Customer service is awesome. Both employees were very professional and personable, explaining what they were doing and giving advice and tips on other maintenance issues that I had concerns about. They also are very familiar with the local trails and made some great suggestions on which trails I might enjoy.
My bike was fixed in less than 20 minutes but the conversation and bike shop merchandise kept me around for a bit longer. As I mentioned the shop is located across the street from the camp ground. So having good business sense, they have filled a niche and have quit a descent camping supply section. They also sell firewood and will even delivered it to your campsite.
Most impressive of all, to me anyway, was their craft beer selection. What a wonderful and large variety. Might even be the selection in Ocala. I know this is a bike shop but who doesn’t like a cold one after there ride, or while you are camping, or on your way home. Like you need an excuse to grab a cold one. Lets just say this is just another great reason to stop by here.
So if you find yourself in the area and in need of some bike work and biking gear and would like some advice about Santos trails and you need some camping supplies and firewood and happen to be looking for a great selection of craft beers. Well your in luck because this would be your one stop shop. Check this place out it truly is awesome.
