Had excellent experience with Jenkins. Tyler was our sales person not only did he help us find an affordable car even after we left the lot he called to tell us(a few days later) they found us a BETTER finance company and could lower our payment $ 90 a month. Will never go anywhere else! Its not very often you have a car dealership that once you leave still calls to help you which tells you you are not just another number with them! Thank-you, Tyler from Jenkins Mazda!

Unbelievably dishonest salespeople. Do yourself a favor– drive up to Gainesville, deal with a decent, honest salesperson up there, and save thousands of dollars like we did!

These guys are a bunch of lying crooks who treat their customers like IDIOTS. I told them I was interested in buying a new Mazda 3 if they could give me a good price on a 2014 which they had to unload before the new models came in. They offered me a price which was simply outrageous. Way over the MSRP and absurd for a car that was already a year old. When I told them they insulted my intelligence with this offer and got up to the leave the Sales Manager Matt came over to apologize for the ridiculous offer and since I knew the price they would make me a «good deal» and that«I can’t blame them for trying» Well yes, I can hold you accountable for trying to RIPMEOFF. Don’t even consider doing business with these liars. Go elsewhere. Also they tried to sell me $ 660 worth of unnecessary repairs on my Mazda 6. Dealers like this should be prosecuted for being the CRIMINALS that they are.

I saw an advertisement in the Sunday Newspaper. Called to verify, and spoke to a salesperson. He didn’t have a clue, so I was transferred to a Sales Manager, and he confirmed it was correct, so I went there and they wouldn’t even honor their own advertisement ! Told me it was a mistake. Is this even legal? I was in «the business» for 25+ years, and sold thousands of vehicles without having to lie, or deceive my customers. I would not recommend doing business at this dealership, unless of course you want to be treated like an idiot. After all that, their PR person emailed me wanting me to share«my Mazda Tale»…really? After I told her of my bad experience she told me that a Sales Manager would be contacting me. He called me to thank me for buying a car from them! You would think they would remember who they sold a car to, or in my case who they didn’t. I wonder what Don Jenkins would say.

Walked in… was ignored for about 10 minutes until someone approached me waiting at the door. I was interested in the Mazda3 and was shown a bunch of models without an offer for test-driving. Finally, I asked if I could test-drive one, the rep had to go back to the office to look for the key. None of the features were explained to me unless I proactively asked.(ex. «What is this button on the car? What is the MPG?») I was very serious about purchasing a vehicle. When discussing price, it was a horrible experience. The sticker price on the vehicle was around $ 20,000. I asked if that was the price of the car while test-driving and the sales rep said«Yes and we have additional $ 2000 discount.» Yet the price the sales rep showed me back at his desk was $ 30,000. He said it was because it included all the«features» like cruise control. Excuse me, a $ 30,000 for a Mazda3? Please, I did my research online and that is beyond a rip-off. Then he said he was not sure if the«$ 2000 discount» was valid this month. WTF? He then tried to get me to sign on the paper that I would purchase, but we had not even gotten nearly that far. I just got up and left because it was such a ridiculous experience. Sexist much? Maybe it would a different experience if I was a guy, but who knows?

I just tried to buy a new 2014 Mazda6 from Jenkins Mazda. I did my research and was really interested in buying this car, but my experience with this dealership was was downright awful. It started out great — the Internet Sales Manager and I worked out a good deal over email. From there, it was almost as though Jenkins decided it didn’t want to sell me the car. I was literally ready to drive to the dealership to buy the car, yet they could not figure out how to say yes. I found the car I wanted in inventory online and emailed asking if they could reserve it for me. He wrote back, «Yes we can!» Then when I called to confirm pickup, he not only said that the car was no longer available, but then said that they can’t actually reserve cars over email. Wait — you’re the the INTERNET sales manager who wrote me a few days before saying that he was holding the car for me. No answer. After this, I should have walked away but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try one more time. I called the the New Car Manager to see if they can still honor the price for another vehicle(since they just sold the one I wanted out from under me). He then tells me the only way he can honor the price we had already agreed on was to finance it through the dealership. Yet again, I had an email trail that said explicitly that I would be securing my own financing. Backtracking again. I hung up. It’s pretty hard to screw up a deal after you’ve already agreed on pricing and have the car in stock, but Jenkins Mazda figured out how to do just that. I’d highly recommend steering clear of this dealership if you’re in the market for a new Mazda. Better yet, I hope that manufacturers go the way of Tesla and start marketing cars directly to consumers.
