Love it. My fave place to go. I grew up in Miami and this place just reminds me of my favorite Sunday brunches.

Nice little, unassuming restaurant. No frills, but good food. Two of us tried it out on 9⁄4 at lunch time and were quite happy. The cafeteria food looked good, but we wanted to try the Cuban sandwich. Like to compare to others. Results. Very Good. The size was large and the fillings were tasty. Ham, pork, cheese, pickles on pretty good Cuban bread. ½ was all we wanted to eat the the rest went home for Sat. lunch. Before we left I wanted to try the bakery goods to take home. Got a slice of cheese cake that my wife said was very creamy and great tasting. I got a tres leches cup for me which was delicious. We will return and try the cafeteria selection next. The pork looked very good and the portions were very sufficient that we saw given to others. My buddy said it was much like the Cuban restaurants he went to in Miami. The Spanish was used by most of the customers. It was obviously a well like local place. Service was pleasant and fast.

This place has awesome cuban food(rice, beans, pork, plantains, yucca) and pastries(ham crochetes, empanadas, guava cheese) and café con leche. Service is fast, servings are large.

cafeteria style Cuban food, which is very good, they also have sandwiches which are hot and pressed, they have pastries, cakes, and plenty of sweet goodies to satisfy that sweet tooth… lol it’s a very good place for lunch or if you crave some Cuban food or sandwich and you don’t want to wait… it’s very fast service… very clean!!! Did I mention it’s very inexpensive… I don’t have a bad comment to say about this place, the bad thing is, not about the place it’s that when I come here I want to eat everything… lol I also know that their just starting here and they don’t open on Sunday and their only open untill 5pm which is not a bad thing, it’s just that I can’t come here more often… lol oh I would have posted some pics but I ate it all… lol … so you probably would have not known what I ate anyway… lol mmmmmmmmm

Nice service, pleasant people… inconsistent food. I’ve had great food and I’ve had bad food. The pricing is very good but not if the food is not. I will give this business another chance, but I would not say it’s amazing. My experience is it’s better to eat in than take-out.

I NEVER thought I’d find Cuban coffee(much less their delicious guava and cream cheese pastelitos) in Ocala(!). I was taken by a friend who lives in Ocala when I suggested regular coffee after our lunch. I was pleasantly surprised when he took me to this little oasis. The best Cuban coffee as far as Gainesville(and beyond!). They even have the«mandatory» service window, which I was promised will be in full swing in the future, as they just opened recently. I will certainly be back for lunch one day. And yes, they are fluent in both English and Spanish, and are very hospitable. Don’t miss this!

Very good Cuban food! Since the food is served cafeteria-style, there is very little wait. Great for lunchtime rush! I got 2 meals for $ 15
