Current Health Inspection: 5 violations I have passed by here quite a bit over the last year but just now had a chance to stop in. It is a café’ inside My Designer’s Attic which is a furnishings consignment/estate store. It’s an adorable café’ surrounded by furnishings & décor that is for sale. Even the tables and chairs that you are sitting at are for sale. Manager/server Matthew is quite polite and professional, always checking back on you. A+ for cleanliness! Matthew described the Tuscan Chix Sandwich and that is what I ordered. How delighted I was to see an oversized pile of chix in between the bread w/whole leaf basil. This not NOT your typical patty, but rather cooked to order chix. It came w/a sun dried tom. sauce on it and according to Matthew, carmelized onions. Uh oh! No onions. He also said it was on Cuban bread which is only partially correct. It was served on media noche’ bread which is a TYPE of Cuban bread but not the Cuban bread everyone thinks of. It came with a fresh fruit salad which was fresh and very filling. I also had a lemon crêpe for dessert. Very tasty, but there was no filling. Everything on the menu was priced at what you would expect to pay.
