I was here over the weekend and was pretty disappointed. My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken pizza, and I got a veggie slice. The price for those two slices was $ 17. Granted the slices were large, but the prices weren’t listed anywhere, and I was definitely not expecting to spend almost $ 20 on 2 slices. My veggie slice was decent. Not the best I’ve ever had, but pretty good. My boyfriend’s buffalo slice was awful. What we thought was cheese was actually most ranch dressing — it was covered in globs of ranch dressing. The most irritating part of the experience was when I asked the woman at the counter for a cup of water, and she told me I could buy a bottle. I had just spent $ 17 on two slices, I don’t drink soda, and I don’t mind tap water, so I didn’t see the need to pay for a drink. She told me their water comes out pink from the soda machine(that can’t be safe??) and again repeated that I could buy water. I don’t think it’s legal to deny a paying customer water. Her tone was pretty rude, and I didn’t think it was worth fighting with her about, but I don’t know why anyone would treat customers this way. Steer clear of this place. Manco & Manco’s has way better pizza, it’s cheaper, and the staff is much friendlier.

They use the FRESHEST ingredients. The salads are so fresh and the owner makes her own creamy balsamic dressing that is absolutely delicious. They also use my favorite tomatoes to make their sauce… Alta Cucina! I highly recommend Angelo’s II!

The owner sat in a booth 6 feet away from my husband, my son and myself(and about 5 other families with young children in the restaurant) and berated her employees for being«f*cking miserable». And the F bombs didn’t stop. Couldn’t even tell you how the pizza was, after ordering a a single plain slice of pizza and listening to the oh so classy, profanity laden rant for 15 minutes, I took my son and walked out while my husband waited for the check. They didn’t take credit cards and their ATM was off or broken. Just our experience. Could have been an off day? I’m not really a fan of coming on the Internet to diss a business but this experience was extra special.

I got two pizzas on the third of July. Three places in ocean city said an hour and express said they were not taking any more orders at 700 for pizza, we got two pizzas one sausage and one plain. They were ready in 20 mins and when we got them home they were delicious. My family are some of the biggest pizza critics there are and they loved it. Sauce was great and the pizza was cooked perfectly. The girl working the register was friendly and took a coupon that i did not mention I had when ordering. Despite being slammed they produced some of the best pizza we ever had. Keep up the good work. Love this place.

Awesome pizza and service!!! Going there every night with my sons while we’re on our vacation. Don’t know what else to say trying to fill this out so it isn’t too short. My youngest son said ‘we had coke’ to which my oldest son said ‘what the heck?’. Now they are both laughing. Seriously though, the pizza is fantastic.

My wife and I grabbed a few slices of pizza at Angelo’s II today. What a mistake. The fact that we saw a bug in one of the many slices on display and the fact that no prices were listed anywhere should have been dead giveaways. A slice of eggplant, slice of Hawaiian and two fountain drinks cost $ 21.50. Pizza was average at best until we found a bug embedded in the cheese in the eggplant slice halfway through the meal. Only bright side was that the woman at the register refunded the $ 8.50 for the slice when we brought it to her attention.

This was interesting. The place was empty. And usually that’s a sign to weigh in all the options at disposal before settling in. Any ways. I will keep this short. It is very hard to mess with pizza and serve a bad one. It is the dough — bake it, sauce and cheese and any toppings. We ordered the large cheese pizza with the mushroom topping. Despite knowing the price was super high, we didn’t want to look around too much as we were all hungry. What we got was very disappointing. Not sure what it was — whether old dough or the cheese or the sauce or the mushrooms — everyone who partake on the slice had a look on the face as soon as a few bites were in. Now that cannot be a colossal coincidence. Any ways. Given that the price was off the roof, we will remember this place next time we are at the boardwalk and will make sure to bypass it. Too many other places to try without risking food poisoning. Service was good. As the young kids serving had one table to take care of — ours. And were all doing a great job. That’s why we did not see a reason to complain or not tip generously. Especially since they were not busy at all — we kind of felt sorry for the business. But at the end of the night — it was a very Expensive meal with little to no value. Outrageously expensive I should say. 1 star. PS: Cash only.

Rudest people I have ever met in my life. Me and my boyfriend walked in not sure if we we’re supposed to seat ourselves the woman at the front counter yells«what’s up with these people ?» Not even talking to us. Will never go back bad pizza and bad service.

Oh the hype about pizzas down at the shore! To me they all taste the same including the popular ones. This place is no different. Rather than slices we got a whole pie. Service was attentive and friendly. Tasty, hot cardboard pizza folks! That’s what you get down the shore! Yummy!

The pizza and salads were amazing! Authentic, NY-style pizza. Everything was huge. And the service was great too. It will definitely be a family tradition!

Very good pizza with great topping selections. On the boardwalk there are many choices for pizza and this is one of the better ones. Huge slices, fresh toppings, and friendly workers. Not cheap, $ 16+ for two slices and fries, but consistently overpriced like everything else on the boardwalk.

This place is delicious. The slices are expensive but big. I shared two slices with my boyfriend and we were both full. We got the margherita pizza and one eggplant spinach pepper mozzarella slice. We came here with my boyfriend family and the waitress was very nice and attentive(could have been cause it was raining though). I would definitely recommend this place of you want a very good slice of pizza!

Terrible service from rude woman at the counter. She acted like there was a line down the boardwalk, when there were only 2 – 3 other customers, and barked at anyone who asked a question. Pizza is NOT worth $ 7 per slice and they don’t have prices marked anywhere and are rude when people act shocked at their total. Also a regular, standard Caesar salad cost $ 9.50!!! When asked for water, the waitress asked if i wanted bottled, and I asked if i had to, knowing some places are weird about this. Actual response, «well our tap water comes out pink so…» DONOTWASTETIMEMONEYORENERGY at this place. Also they have weird décor –if you can even call an uncomfortable amount of Elmo dolls décor.

Avoid this place at all costs. It’s awful, plain and simple. The woman taking food orders was extremely rude and loud. The seating was uncomfortable and the restaurant was dirty. Not to mention that it in general had a terrible esthetic. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about a little hole in the wall place if the food is great and the price is right. That was not the case here. $ 20 for three slices of crappy pizza? No thanks. There are plenty of places where I can get pizza that taste better and cost less.

This pizza shop is a quadrillion(you heard me) times better than any pizza shop on the Ocean City boardwalk. I like pizza, but I find myself critiquing a lot of pizza shops. They never live up to my ideal expectations of pizza. Angelo’s II serves some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. The crust is just the right thickness, the toppings are fresh and the amount of cheese is perfect. When people ask me where to find the best pizza on the boardwalk, I always say Angelo’s II.

Best pizza I’ve EVER had on the boardwalk! Huge slices and an amazing variety of toppings. I had the lasagna pizza and one slice was way more than enough for dinner — it was delicious!!!

My jaw dropped and i sorta froze when i heard the total. «that’ll be $ 13.50 Sir» time seemed to stand still for a moment… I reached back for my wife’s hand to fetch another 5 dollar bill. 2 slices of pizza for 13.50 ! i almost didn’t get a drink because i was afraid what that would cost… guess 3.50 for a large soda seems cheap in comparison. I’m no cheap skate but Come on, how can they justify these prices ? I went with a slice of bbq chicken and my wife had some kind of broccoli ricotta cheese type concoction. the slices are ridiculously big… Took 2 paper plates to hold it(not a bad thing considering the rape that just took place with the price) Both slices were pretty good but nothing special, it definitely fills you up though. matter of fact it was the first time in history where i couldn’t finish one slice of pizza… Had to toss ¼ of it to the seagulls. My wife did the same.

We always get Mack & Manco pizza in Ocean City. On our way to the closest one on our most recent visit we spotted Angelos II. The slices of mushroom pizza in the case caught our eye. We thought we would give this joint a try. We ordered one slice of mushroom, one slice of chicken barbecue, and a diet Coke. Total price: $ 16.something. Holy smokes! Price aside, the pizza was awesome! These are huge slices. Figure each slice is twice the size of a normal slice. With all the toppings added, one might expect the slice to sag. It did not. The crust was perfectly crisp and supported the toppings. I loved the chicken barbecue slice; it was a meal in itself. My wife equally enjoyed the mushroom slice. The girl who waited on us was very pleasant and helpful. She explained the prices when my jaw dropped. Slices range from $ 4 to $ 8 depending on toppings. Ouch! The pizza is better than Mack and Manco.

Apparently OC Boardwalk pizza is kind of like the Cold War arms race in the ‘80s where each place wants to try and top the other in price. Well if that were true than Angelos would win the price ripoff race. The owner? was out on the boardwalk this week telling people that it was«the best pizza on the boardwalk.» The most expensive? Yes. The best? Hell No. $ 19.95 for a pizza. Sure the slices are large but you can go anywhere else non-boardwalk and get 2 pies for that price with a 2 liter. Not one pie and then get gouged at $ 4.00 for a cup lemonade or $ 2.50 a bottle for water. I will give them credit in that the pizza actually was made fresh unlike M&M who likes to serve you pizza that has been sitting around for who knows how long as they just churn out pizza after pizza assembly line style. But even still $ 19.95 is bordering on extortion, they don’t list prices anywhere and they also didn’t offer menus at the table or from the server, and no pizza is that good or worth that. Needless to say I won’t be back and this place is a major ripoff.

I ordered a margarita slice and 3 garlic knots. At a normal establishment, the slice would be half a piece of pizza. The garlic knots were normal size and priced 3 for $ 1. While you’re eating a HUGE pizza slice you too may overhear the owner complain to the staff about their performance or her yelling at her kids or even drilling her husband(?) about the kids. Overall: a pizza slice at Angelo’s II is the largest slice I have ever had. The pizza cannot compare to the nearby competition(Mack and Maco’s) but you will get your money’s worth and its not a bad taste at all. The restaurant is clean, has funky but welcoming artwork and the servers were friendly. My only request is that the owner stay in the backroom and gripe where customers can’t hear her.
