Glazed Over

My daughter and I had a fun time painting today at Glazed Over. Check ahead of time to see your pickup day but if you are from out of town and won’t be there on pickup day they will ship to you. Fun time!

Glazed over is a great anytime activity if you’re burnt out on the beach! We typically hit it when it rains, like every one else, but the off season is a great time to go when its quieter. great selection and friendly staff!

What a great way to have some creative fun. Wonderful atmosphere, welcoming to all ages and skill levels. Their prices are very reasonable, no studio fee, just pay for what you want piece you want to paint. .tiles, plates, mugs and very fun seasonal items.

So fun!!! I’ve never done the paint your own pottery/​ceramics thing, but I had such a great time here. I went with my family (mother, grandmother and sister) for a rainy day adventure.
The space is just a large room with a smaller «classroom» type room in the back, with a bunch of tables and chairs. There are shelves of ceramic bisque lining the walls. They have lots of different items from bowls and plates to serving platters and pitchers. They also have adorable little figurines, christmas ornaments, piggy banks and picture frames. You can choose to either paint the bisque with a variety of colors and do a mosaic with tile and mirror thats available.
Prices are marked on the bottom of the piece and paint/​mosaic materials are included. You can use as much paint as you want and stay as long as you need to. The girls who work there are really great.
We had so much fun that we all ended up doing more than one piece and are planning to go back again.
It’s a great activity for a rainy day by the beach. Items take about 4 days to get back to you, and if you’re only down for a few days, they’ll mail them to you when hey’re finished!
