Normally I have terrific service at all of the Hooters I visit. I travel all around the country for work and always try to visit the local Hooters. This location on 123rd is the awful exception. Each vacation I go here. I have YET to have a good experience here. The service is consistently sub par. The other night I walked in at 9:20PM and was told I couldn’t stay because they were getting ready to do last call! 9:20PM in a beach town??? What’s worse is that the website says 11PM. This isn’t the first time I experienced this at this location. Last year I came in around 8:30 and was told that I couldn’t sit outside because they were closing soon. Yet, there were still people seated outside. It seems that the management and staff here are more concerned with getting out early than they are about customer service. This location needs a complete overhaul of management. Total shame.

Foods good, one of the more smallish Hooters I’ve ever been to. The place could use a facelift. The waitresses are the attraction, ours was friendly, fast, polite and attentive(besides being attractive! Hahaha). I got the new Pulled Pork Sandwich on Texas a Toast, good but not great, the onion rings were very good, as usual. We ate inside and the noise was never a problem and you could easily hear everyone at our table.

The waitress was great but the food just average. My kids did not like the chicken tenders. I had a Swiss mushroom burger that was obviously from frozen but still edible. My husband said his 3 mile island wings which are supposed to be somewhat hot weren’t at all and the chicken seemed dried out. The appetizers were good — mozzarella sticks and total tots(tat or tots covered in cheese/bacon/sour cream/chives). The food was pretty quick also but it was pretty late so they weren’t at all busy. The kids like the chocolate mousse cake for dessert. It definitely was a little pricey compared to other similar food places.

This hooters is not the same as the Texas and Hawaii ones. First we ordered fried pickles which tasted fine but had a horseradish dip instead if a spicy ranch(I think) they have at other locations. The wings and fries were cold when we got them.(Not sure if they even meet food safety standards) the ranch was also prepackaged and way different than other locations. This location had many flaws in consistency for a franchise, where consistency is key.

Worst meal of the week was here at Hooters! I even said to hubby why the heck are we eating here when we could eat this at home?! So many better different places to choose from. Our waitress was very nice and that’s about all I can say. Our boneless wings were dry and unappetizing, hubby’s fish was way overcooked and it was one of the most expensive meals to date! Unless you’re going for the eye candy — choose somewhere else!

One star for great service, one star for great tasting wings, negative three stars for giving me food poisoning on vacation. I’m 6 months pregnant. Our group ate here yesterday afternoon for lunch. Everything was great while we were actually there; our waitress was very sweet and attentive, the wings and curly fries were yummy, and the overall ambiance was casual and relaxed. Hours later though, we were all headed to the bathroom. In my case, I guess I’m more sensitive to whatever type of contamination was in our food and drinks, and I’ve also been vomiting. If not for the extreme sickness and missing a day of our last summer vacation, I’d eat here again.

Great experiance! Me and two friends came in on Labor Day weekend and were greeted warmly by the hoestess. She sat us towards the back right away. Our waitress was beyond beautiful. Plus she was funny, all smiles and very friendly. She took our drink order while we wiped the drool from our mouths. When she came back, still all smiles, we placed an order for food. The place was not at all crowded but it was filled with the typical 90⁄10 guy to girl ratio. Also, it was very clean and not as loud as you would expect from a sports bar. As usual, the wings were amazing and the frickles were good too. We never felt rushed and our amazing waitress stopped by from time to time to check up on us. After our meal, our waitress agreed to take a picture with us too!

The mozzarella sticks were not the thin sticks pictured on the menu. The cheese inside them hadn’t been cooked long enough and they were almost still solid. Neither the regular wings nor the boneless wings were very good. My mother-in-law had a quesadilla, which she enjoyed. Overall, there are too many good places in Ocean City to eat to waste time going to Hooters.

As a four year veteran Hooter Girl, I know what to expect out of any Hooters and left here with a bad taste in my mouth, literally. Walked in as a party of five including three children.(Yes, this place is more than girls in skimpy outfits, the food is actually good.) The place was not crowded but the hostess told me we had to sit at a high top table(high bar stool chairs with no backs) because the regular tables were all reserved. Having worked at Hooters before, I know that the only way you can get a reservation is if you call ahead to arrange a very large party so that they can begin to move tables around to fit the large group. I asked the hostess since when did Hooters take reservations? She then told me and I kid you not,…that the regular tables were ALL reserved for OLDPEOPLE! Really? I was quite taken aback by this because in my opinion those high top tables with backless high stools are quite dangerous for children too. Further, unless there was a senior citizen convention coming in, there were PLENTY of regular tables to go around. I expressed to this hostess that I wanted a regular table and she actually said she had to go and ask a manager whether we could have one or not. About 10 minutes later while standing in the middle of the restaurant waiting for the hostess to come back with her managers answer, a server said right this way and finally we were seated, I suppose in the senior citizen section? Ordered our drinks and food and the loaded tater tots came out first. That was fine but considering that was to be the meal of one of the children and everyone was hungry, they did not last long. Back comes the server and we ordered another loaded tots to be brought with the meals. 3 minutes later came the second order of tots and two bowls of cold fries. Still no meals. Still hungry, the children ate these and we waited about 20 minutes longer for 20 wings and a buffalo chicken sandwich. Imagine my dismay when these came out cold and looked like they had been sitting for a long time. The wing sauce had actually coagulated on the plate. At this point I had to say something to the server. I told her all I have mentioned above and shortly after a manager came over to apologize. He was in shock at the«OLDPEOPLE» comment from the hostess and he agreed that the food should have been served on time and hot. He was kind enough to remove the drinks,(thanks because all but one were waters) and the apps(which were meant to be meals). I am not one that wants to dine with a discount off of bad food but I did appreciate the managers attempt to make things right. We left after only three wings were barely eaten and ordered pizza. I will never go back.

They were packed and the food and beer still came out in a reasonable timeframe. That’s good enough for me. It’s a chain so usually the food is just fine. Nothing spectacular, nothing terrible. Just fine. Our waitress was working like a dog and took great care of us. That’s the fourth star. I think it’s easy in a tourist destination when you’re slammed to kind of get to it when you can get to it. She really made a serious effort. We had a great time.

Absolutely awful! I was just here last night And was truly disappointed. While I have not been to hooter in about 10 years I didn’t realize that what you ordered is what you get… As in no sides or anything. I ordered a blue cheese burger and that is literally all I got a burger on a bun with some blue cheese on top of it. I was not even given lettuce or tomatoes. The burger was extremely dry and service was awful. I won’t be going again.

Took my 13 year old son there for the first time. He loved it. The girls were very friendly. Boneless hot wings were very good. Curly fries are good and you get a lot of them, so share with someone. Burgers were good & buffalo shrimp was very good.

Teenage boys and fifty-cent wings, what can I say? The boys were happy. They purchased t-shirts which the waitresses all signed. We got 100 wings for $ 50. They were fine. You can order them naked(without the breading) which we enjoyed. The service was prompt and pleasant and kept the adults well supplied with beer.

Service and food here were mediocre at best. My order came out wrong(chicken cheesesteak instead of reg steak), wings were not that great(perhaps it’s b/c I ordered them naked instead of breaded), and overall service was just ok. Don’t get me started on the condition of the bathrooms. Being located in a beach town is no excuse. Good thing they have a plunger right next to the toilet, because some of my friends get sick from eating here. Don’t think I’ll be coming back here.

I’m not overly impressed with the service as I had to wait for a long time for a server to come to the table. The wings were good as promised and the beer was cold. However, putting as bag of ice in my pitcher of beer didn’t go over too well. I felt that they did that just to reduce the amount of beer they served you. I do think they are a bit pricey on both the food and their drinks.
