After waiting 20 minutes(I was the only one there), they called me back. I told the phlebotomist that my veins are deep so they usually use my hand. So what does she do? The lady stuck me in my left arm, wiggled the needle around, no blood return so she took it out after wiggling it around for one minute. I told her again, use my hand that is what everyone does. What does she do? She sticks my right arm!!! There was no vein visible or palpable. She blind stuck me again. She wiggled a little and finally struck a vein. It was painful. I needed three vials and one small vial of blood. It took about 5 or so minutes because the blood was coming out slow. After she’s done she looks at the vials and says«it’s not enough, they won’t accept this». Right now I’m looking at her saying«Are you kidding me!?!» So she calls the other lady in. She sticks me in the hand,(finally!). However she used one of the smallest needles, the butterfly. So it came out slooow, about 8 minutes. The whole time she kept asking«did you drink anything? You must be dehydrated». I kept telling her over and over again, I drank 64 ounces of water yesterday and 32 ounces of water before I came in(and it was only 9am!) She didn’t believe me. I was so pissed Never coming back to this location again. They don’t know what they’re doing. My fiancé is a paramedic and I am a nurse so it’s not like we don’t know how it should be done. These ladies were clueless.
