The food is well prepared but way to expensive good choice for some very cheap side $ 7.90 for pork fried rice??? Only No Delivery

I had heard recently that the food here has gone down hill. Well last night I saw it first hand.
My seaweed salad was pretty good. That’s where it stopped. Both mine and my wife’s sushi did not seem fresh at all.
Maybe we were just there on an off night but I’ll give them another chance only because I have always liked and enjoyed the food here.

when we arrived we were a little leary but as soon as the food and appitizers started comming out we could not have been happier, dragon roll wow, shrimp tempura wow, rock shrimp great, lo mein loaded with shrimp, chicken and beef, fantastic. moo goo gui pan very tasty, waitress was on time when ever we needed our drinks refilled, shusi, drinks (soda’s, hot tea) appitizers, and main course for 4 less than 100.00 plus tip.. we will be back when we come down for car week in may

Don’t get the Sushi! Too much rice, not much fish, spicy tuna has so much filler hard to find the tuna! Sushi tastes fishy! Yuk

We visited this restaurant on our recent trip to ocean city based on Unilocal reviews. We were not disappointed! We had the fried zucchini and crab appetizer which was delicious! We ordered several sushi rolls. The kawasaki roll was my favorite. Our server was friendly and attentive. We will definitely come again the next time we are in o.c. everything was fresh and delicious!

Over the years the food, service, and atmosphere have been consistently great. I love the Kawasaki roll, Rainbow roll, Dragon roll, Dynamite roll, and the Volcano roll. If you like nigiri, the octopus is great! Definitely one of my favorite places.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I generally love the rice house, however after my last experience I will never return there again and will encourage others to go elsewhere as well. First of all the service was HORRIBLE. Absolutely awful and our waitress was rude. We ordered 2 rockin rolls, a shrimp roll, orange chicken with fried rice and noodles and wonton soup. The crab meat and the shrimp was ATRIFICIAL! The orange chicken was awful and the only thing Edible was the soup ans rice. Also the table next to us allowed their children to fight and throw food and run around to other tables making a scene. I had my three year old son with me and even he was annoyed by the scene. There are times management should step in with situation such as those and this was a time it definitely should have happened. Needless to say we left highly unsatisfied and I will NEVER be returning to a place that I used to love so much. If you are looking for good sushi go to OC wasabi!

I give this place 1 star because my Chinese dish tasted really bad. My worst Chinese experience. The sushi however, was good.

Super friendly staff and great food! We tried the classic rolls (avocado/​cucumber and California), sweet & sour chicken, and a vegetarian dish and everything was great! There’s not much more to say really, though, except I’d be back!

The mussels in curry sauce was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. The sashimi was well prepared and tasted fresh. Service was very friendly and fast.

I would have not known about the Rice House until I searched for sushi near West OC on google. Wow! What a little gem of a place! The other Unilocal reviews were what persuaded me to try it and I’m glad I did. My sushi was take-​out but it looked like a quaint place to sit at the cozy little bar.

Food was good but waitress was sitting taking with other people at there table and chatted on cell phone while we waited for food if they would wait on the people as fast as talking with friends place would be much better in my opinion

First time here was a great experience! Very friendly and attentive staff. I ordered the seaweed salad, grilled squid app, and the tiger roll which was shrimp, tuna, lump crab, spicy mayo and seaweed wrapped in a white soy paper. Was simply amazing. Very fresh. The grilled squid was as authentic as it gets. They also have a full menu as well. Don’t overlook this gem.

Great sushi and lettuce wraps. Attentive and friendly service. One of the owners and the waitress found out it was our first time there and they were great! Got to know us, talked about the menu, etc.
I also like that there’s a casual side for quick meals and a more intimate dining room for date nights. Ive lived in OC awhile and this is the best sushi experience I’ve had down here.

This place was about average.
Service was ok. We didn’t have any napkins or silverware until we finally asked for them. Waitress was nice and checked in a lot though.
Wonton soup was REALLY salty! Wontons were good though. We shared the happy family. It was tasty.

The food and environment at the Rice House are excellent. Very upscale dining experience with polite wait staff. I’m not a big fan of Asian food, but the food at the Rice House is hands-​down amazing. Food prep looks very clean and trustworthy whereas there are other Asian restaurants that are a health department nightmare.
The owner is almost always there and cooking along with the rest of the large kitchen staff. Dishes are all prepared with great care, so when they’re busy, sometimes it can be a little slow, but overall it’s definitely worth it!

Up scale Asia food! We try to go regularly and I have always had incredible meals, not one bad ! Noodles, sushi or even asking for them to create a special dish, all have exceeded my expectations. I am truly not overstating the quality. They cook with LOVE and it shows.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ocean City, MD! This place is a bit off the beaten path however it’s well worth the drive. The restaurant is located an ¹⁄₈^th of a mile from Rt. 50 close to the inlet drawbridge.
Once there, you’ll be greeted by their awesome staff; Mr. B is usually cooking in the kitchen and the Mrs. is charming everyone who walks through the door.
As far as their food, it’s a mix of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The kids usually order lo mein of fried rice but us adults order the specials which are truly incredible. I have enjoyed the likes of Cod stuffed with crabmeat with a miso butter sauce, a huge chunk of Tuna stuffed with crabmeat, a phenomenal Chilean Sea Bass and many other great entrees. They also serve incredible sushi! I would definitely order the austin roll, the dragon roll, the volcano roll and the dynamite roll; you won’t be disappointed!
Folks, the Rice House Bistro is a great place to eat. It is truly a hidden gem and the locals flock to it. We found it by happenstance when my wife went to get her nails done 2 years ago and have consistently gone there to eat since then. There is rarely a wait (although I have been telling a lot of people about this restaurant) and its well worth the extra 10 minutes to get there!

This is my favorite sushi place in OC. They eel is pretty banging, and the people are friendly. It’s also clean, especially the bathrooms!
