Seahawk Motel

I just stayed here for two nights this past weekend and I really enjoyed it. I stayed in a motel room and it was spacious and clean. The carpeting and bedding seemed new and the room smelled fresh. The front desk staff was pleasant and the motel is in a great location, less than 5 minute walk to the beach and lots of restaurants across the street. I didn’t visit the pool but the pool chairs as well as the chairs on our balcony seemed new.
I recommend staying on a top floor as the noise from the pool could get louder from the kids playing. Would stay here again!

wow! this hotel is a gem! not only are the prices amazing, the full kitchen that was included in the room was priceless. smaller bathrooms, but for the location to the beach and the price, can’t beat it! Stay here — you’ll thank me afterwards!

Love this place. Front desk is kind and helpful and the price can’t be beat. Walking distance to a number of establishments, but on the north end, which is generally quieter. Also, the benefit of a full kitchen is priceless!

Great place to stay! Private balconies. We had an efficiency which had a small electric stove, sink, coffee maker, toaster, full size refrigerator, dishes, table for 4, 2 double beds and pull out sofa. Free wifi. Not super fancy, but EXTREMELY clean, and that’s more important to me.
Location — a block from the beach! Across the street is a Grotto pizza. Walking distance from JR Ribs, Hooters, and stores to get things one may have forgot to pack.

We have stayed at many other places in OC but keep returning to the Seahawk. It feels like a home away from home. All rooms are efficiencies. This includes a full kitchen with coffee pot, toaster, plates, pots & pans and a normal sized refrigerator. The room has two queen size beds but is very spacious. There is a dining table with four chairs, a large TV, plenty of storage and a sofa bed. Initially had some wifi issues but they cleared up. This place is super clean and really kept up nicely. The carpet and air conditioner looked new and the air conditioner wasn’t one of those noisy types that keep you up. There are multiple places to park, including a lot in the back. A fairly short walk to the beach. There is a Grotto pizza and a Dumser’s directly across the street. You will love this place.

This was an AMAZING experience, the place was extremely clean the smell of the room was fresh like it was just clean, I was there with my family and we all enjoy it! the room was furnished with 2 Queen size bed (very comfortable) a sofa bed, dishes (porcelain plates, coffee mugs), coffee maker, toaster, utensils, pots, they provide you with a wash rag and some dish soap (even though we took half of my house due to other reviews saying they didn’t prove non of the above, I don’t know about other rooms how they set up but we had 2 room full of everything) the AC was AWESOME, if you have small kid that love to watch cartoons all the time is a big NO they had only teen channels so I did had a Lil of a hard time when I was In the room but nothing that my IPad couldn’t fix, the WiFi is pretty ok, the password will be In the room key they prove you with (don’t ask the older lady in the front desk she will look at you like you are the most ignorant person in the world) … the bathroom WOW very clean full of towels plenty of room to move not lot of space to place your items but big enough, the water pressure was GREAT!
The cleaning staff was on POINT, we didn’t had no problem with the cleaning or fresh towels Everyday or any other needs we had as far as the room service. the only problem I had was the front lady, she was very rude over the phone and in person, but we didn’t really payed her any mind after that, make sure you let them know how many adults and how many kids B’cause she will give you a hard time (I had 4 adults and 2 small children, my sister had 4 adults and 3 small babies, and she said that was not allow only 2 kids per room) The location is in a great place, walking distance to a lot of place to grab something quick0 like DD!
The BEACH is Literally a Block and half but the board walk is on 27^th st. or so and the Motel is on 124^th SO YOU DO THE MATH! there is a bus that you pay $ 3 and after that is free to return it takes you right to the board walk! You most try SWEET FROG at the board walk is DELICIOUS! Is a very LONG walk so be comfortable!
In overall it was great! Planning my second trip already!!!

GREAT little motel. Very clean. Very. I usually shy away from small motels, b/​c they’re usually dirty, but this one was great. Beach was less than 2 min walk behind the hotel. Little to no noise. We had a room w/​a kitchen, 2 beds, pull out sofa, little dining table. Bus stops right across the street to go down to the boardwalk.
Walking distance to a great crab place and awesome donut shop. It was very safe, very comfortable feeling. We can’t wait to go back next year.
The only bad thing was the wifi/​phone reception. HORRIBLE. I had better service on the beach.

Very nice and clean family run efficiency rooms steps from the ocean.
Maid service is fast and good.
Staff is friendly from booking through your entire stay.
Very clean pool.
Convenient to many good eats.
Ample amount of clean towels and bedding and parking.
Free wifi. (though very slow)
Stove, full fridge, microwave, sink, dining room table and coffee maker.
Comfy pull out sofa with new plastic still on the sofa mattress.
Air conditioning and most rooms have a front and back door.
Family place as I was there for 5 nights and did not see any rowdy teenagers or drunken brawls in the place.
Bathrooms are clean and spacious and you will get an ample amount of hot water any time day or night.

It’s a very short walk to the beach from here. The efficiency was just perfect for what we needed. Don’t get me wrong this is certainly not a 5 star hotel but it is very clean, neat, well maintained and the staff is wonderful. My friends and I have already booked our next stay here.
