SMU is a favorite spot in Va. but coming to this location is special. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We left with a serious load.

Love this store! It is a pricey store much like Nordstoms. It’s a nice break from all the souvenir stores that all carry the same thing and are on every corner. Unfortunately, due to the amount I spent last year, my husband avoided the area this year. :(

This clothing store is very attractive and offers a pleasant shopping experience. They offer lots of swimwear as well as women’s and men’s clothing. I woulld compare their selection to Nordstrom department store. A bit pricey for my blood so I did not buy anything.

Out of all the South Moon Under stores, I think the Ocean City location is my favorite, followed closely by the National Harbor location. The sales associates are always friendly and seem genuinely happy to help you, which I can’t say is the case at all of the store’s retail locations. The selection is great and includes men’s and women’s clothing, swimwear, jewelry, shoes, a small cosmetics/​nail lacquer selection, and a fun selection of gift items. There’s always a ton of sales items as well. The prices are high, especially if you are comparing them to prices at other clothing stores in the area, but the quality is also better. And like some of the local surf shops that sell clothing, South Moon Under is open year-​round.

South Moon Under is an upscale store with two floors: upstairs is swimwear and the downstairs not only well-​made clothes for men and women but also home goods and knickknacks. The prices are ultra-​high on average $ 80 – 120, especially compared to the nearby souvenir shops. If you’re willing to pay the price on the clothes then there is no doubt you will walk out in style. Even though most items are overpriced, there are other non-​clothing items that won’t break the bank. I found a cute mug for a friend for $ 12 and left a happy customer.
