The hostess seemed uninterested in our business. The pizza was nice and hot, but it was greasy. It wasn’t the best pizza I’ve had, but it was good!

Came in, and the hostess didn’t seem very welcoming. But that’s ok. Ordered a large pizza and it was not the best I’ve had. Extremely greasy! It was nice and hot though. I probably wouldn’t come back but at least I tried it!

We stopped here for a quick lunch before heading to the beach. I typically don’t write reviews on chain restaurants, but to us as tourists it was«unique» so I’ll write one. The vibe was relaxing, but I don’t think we hit it during a peak time. I noticed they had a window you could order from that faces the board walk, but the inside was spacious and would be great for large groups. We had been eating seafood the entire trip, and rightfully so, but I think everyone wanted something a little different. We ordered buffalo wings for an appetizer and everyone ordered something different off the menu. My sister ordered two slices of their pizza, since that’s what they are known for, and they were really good. I ordered the Knife & Fork burger with fries and I thought it tasted good, nothing special but tasty none the less. Both my brother & husband ordered burgers as well. It was filling and not too expensive overall. It is definitely a chain, but we enjoyed ourselves. It would be a good lunch spot if you wanted to save your $$ on a nicer dinner.

Stopped here for lunch. We got a medium cheese pizza and mozzarella sticks. The mozz sticks were good and the pizza would have been a lot more enjoyable if the crust wasn’t overdone. It tasted burnt and that flavor overpowered what could have been a good pizza. Service was good as well as the atmosphere.

Stopped in for a quick snack. The pizza was excellent and was served fairly quickly. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better overall experience.

Good Pizza, appetizers were average. Service was meh. We got the recommendation from a friend we will take that under consideration the next time.

Absolutely disgusting. Crazy prices for the caliper of food. Keep driving and find anywhere that serves breakfast. The pancakes were OK, that’s it… Coffee was terrible, after 4 creamers and 3 sugars it was tolerable. Very dirty, outdated and the servers were odd. If you decide to go, good luck!

I can understand why dough roller only gets a few stars. Wait on a Saturday morning for 6 was 30min but then it takes another 30 min to get food after you order. I was not a happy camper. However, once we got our food I was pleasantly surprised. Light and fluffy omelets, perfectly cooked over medium eggs, crispy bacon and tasty pancakes. The coffee was pretty good too.

Pretty good breakfast place. Omelettes are nice and fluffy and their signature pancakes were good. Wait wasn’t too bad– about thirty minutes on a busy Saturday morning. It did take some time to get our food but that’s expected in OC breakfast places.

Cheese steak was great, my wife said the Ruben was the best she’s had so for and the chicken strips looked like they were freshly breaded.

Getting in was slow for brunch at 10:45 am. Service was only adequate at best. Cups were dirty and had to be replace.

Headed down to ocmd for vacation. Left at 6am and didn’t eat breakfast so when we got there, wife and I were starving! Found the first place off coastal highway and this was it! Breakfast was great! Got French toast sausage and eggs. Wife got eggs and bacon. Standard beach morning breakfast.

Had a great breakfast and an amazing waitress. She was very friendly. Very good place to take your family to eat when in town. Love there pancakes and omelets! Can’t beat the price for the amount of food.

I had the fries and the buttermilk pancakes. The fries were really good but the buttermilk pancakes were less than great– I found that they were actually quite salty. We came on a Sunday night and the place was pretty empty. Our waitress was really great, so no complaints about service

General’s Kitchen at its new location had a queue out the door and nearly to the sidewalk so we decided to try Dough Rollers which has been a reliable if uninspiring breakfast spot. It was crowded but we were able to quickly get a table for four. The four breakfasts ordered were: the western omelet, blueberry pancakes and 2 orders of the Little Roller with sausage. We sent one of the Little Roller meals back because the blueberry pancakes had raw batter inside. The waitress took the plate informing us that«the pancakes are not my fault». Thank you… we knew that. The plate returned with new pancakes… also raw inside. So we sent that meal back for the 2nd time and asked that it be taken off the bill. The bill came with this Little Roller meal absent except… for a $ 3.45(or so) charge for the sausage link that we ate!!! The waitress informs us that this is Dough Roller policy so I speak to manager who says«Well…you ate the sausage right?» So I had to explain to her that when a meal is comped… the meal is comped… not bits and pieces. I had to ask that it be taken off the bill because she did not want to do so. Bottom line — a very average meal highlighted by a surprising attitude by the restaurant staff. In the end they comped the one Little Roller meal but had to be convinced to do so. There are many other restaurants in OC that offer breakfasts. This Dough Roller did not earn my return business.

Definitely is a typical breakfast spot. I always get the chipped beef with a side of egg. I’m always craving creamy gravy style breakfast every time I go there, I don’t know why. Nothing to really rave about this place other than the food is good. I only have two negative comments — their service is pretty slow on the back larger group section. Every time I go there with a big group it’s pretty slow and everytime… people who are seated after us get their food first too, something is wrong with their system. The second are the breakfast potatoes, they bake it and there’s no crunchy outer skin. Other than that, expect to be full and expect nothing but diner style food. Just don’t be surprised if service isn’t as great.

Your basic breakfast joint. Friendly staff. Spacious seating. Good service. Average food at reasonable prices. Their bacon is perfectly crispy BUT the home fries are lacking. Their servings are huge unless your getting the combos like the little roller which I managed to finish and feel satisfied. Overall pleasant experience, its pretty similar to a dennys and theres plenty on costal drive to choose from.
