Great Place! My boyfriend and I went here on the last day of our stay, Thursday around 12pm and we didn’t wait at all! The waitress was very attentive and brought out our food as soon as it was ready, could have been a little friendlier but still great service. We got the crab eggs Benedict and the Joe smooth A Go-Go, couldn’t help but get crab dishes for our last meal in ocean city ! The food was amazing and I’d go here again, but if you want a fancier décor for brunch and mimosas this wouldn’t be the place! For a laid back old fashioned diner than definitely check it out.

Best Breakfast food I had in a while! It was very busy but we got seated fast! The waitress was super friendly! We received our food pretty fast as well! I order the Big One Omelette. It was so tasty! The orange juice definitely tasted fresh as well! My boyfriend got the pancakes, they were so light and fluffy! Tasted great! I will definitely come here again when I visit!

Eggs Benedict was very good and made exactly how it should(eggs were made perfect) My daughter order biscuits with sausage and gravy and that was very good as well. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere along with their food gave me that«at home» kinda feeling :) I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come again.

Not sure how they make the hash browns but they were so delicious. I got the steak and eggs, my steak did have a little too much fat and gristle on it so it was hard to cut but nonetheless it was cooked the way I asked and was delicious once I got around it. Very cute diner style feel.

Awesome place! The server was ridiculously nice and suggested a crab omelette that was off the menu. Omg it was phenomenal!!! They probably used several crabs to fill that thing because it was jam packed! The mixture of crab, cheese, pepper, and hollandaise sauce sent me straight to food heaven. Only thing I would mark this place down for is their coffee; it’s pretty weak. But overall had an awesome breakfast and would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Definitely important to know the cash-only policy. We went in there with a pretty large group and it’s a bit tight in this place, but they had no problems finding us a place to fit in. There was a line, but it was a pretty short wait. Did have to park my stroller near the pool though, because it was too tight inside to try and figure out where to put it. The staff here is amazingly friendly. I really did enjoy it for that fact. It made the other restaurants we were at in this area pale in comparison. The food was standard breakfast thoroughfaire. I had the crab-covered hollandaise covered omelet. It was pretty tasty. Also the stacks of pancakes seemed like a small amount until we got them and the pancakes are huge. So, keep that in mind. We tried a bit of everything and were pretty happy.

This an amazing place! The service is great and the food blew me away. They have amazing everything. Even though it’s mostly a breakfast place they also have a lunch and dinner menu. Their food blew me away and I will definitely come here again!

FYI cash or check only! Excellent breakfast and lunch spot. Breakfast all day for those who are looking. Service was prompt and friendly. The prices are reasonable. Food came out fast and was excellent. This place has the American Diner feel. You can come in casual. Parking is mixed in with the regular motel parking. Close to the beach.

The boyfriend and I found this place on Unilocal from all of the reviews so we decided to try it before meeting up with some friends for a day trip in Ocean City. We saw from other Unilocalers that there would be a long wait if we came after a certain time so we got there right at 7am when they opened. Food came out pretty quickly and we were satisfied with our choices! Note: CASHONLY!(they have an ATM at the front, which we had to use) and parking was pretty limited. The motel next to them had a lot that you could use for a certain amount of time while you dine in.

Do try this place if you’re in the area-you WILLNOT regret it! I came in(on two occasions) with a group of 16 during Labor day weekend and had a terrific experience. On both days, the restaurant was completely packed, and we were seated within 25 minutes. Coincidentally, we had the same server both days. She was so great to us – extremely patient, informative, and cheerful. She even asked us if we were going to split checks and that took care of the dreadful pain of splitting checks at the end(huge plus). This is a CASHONLY business, but they conveniently have an ATM inside. On to the food, service, and ambiance… The menu is laid out very well and it was easy to follow. With a group as big as ours, the food came out in 15 minutes and there were no mess-ups(another plus). I usually take pictures of my plate, but on each occasion I was starving so I just dove into my delicious meal. I had the«Big Bill’s Eggs Benedict» which came highly recommended by our server, and some waffles and pancakes on the other day. My friends had a variety of sandwiches, omelets and some of their«Sahara Specials» Everyone was satisfied. Overall a great dining experience for a small hole in the wall café in Ocean City, Maryland. The staff treat each other like family which made our time there very pleasant and welcoming. They definitely know what they’re doing.

We were able to sit right away for breakfast on a Saturday morning during Labor Day weekend because we sat at the counter. The wait would have probably been around 20 minutes. I enjoy sitting at the counter so that wasn’t a problem for me. Our order was taken right away. The server(Daymond John from Shark Tank doppelgänger) seemed a bit grumpy at first, but he warmed up eventually. The restaurant was busy, but we got our food in decent time. The coffee was gigantic and the food was tasty. Nothing too special, just decent breakfast food. I’d go again.

Yum yum yummy breakfast and a cute Grateful Dead theme! I stopped in here on a Sunday in August around noon with four other friends and was seated right away. The place was pretty much cleared out by the time we were done eating because they close relatively early. I got some coffee and ordered a western omelette. Everything was so good! Our waitress was a little hostile at the begining but lightened up as our meal went on. I’ll chalk it up to a bad day I guess. This place is cash-only as well! Don’t forget your bills!

This is a decent breakfast spot. The food came out really fast and hot. The older lady is really sweet, and I gather she’s a valued fixture at this establishment. It’s always nice to see when businesses keep long-time employees. It means they’re doing something right. With that being said, the young lady who works the counter really needs to learn how to count change. She wouldn’t split our check, because she didn’t want to figure out how to split the tax. Oy vey. Smartphones are a wonderful technological advancement, until they’re most likely the reason a working adult can’t count money, or work with numbers. Also, this young lady did not seem too rushed to do her job(seat people and take payment), even during a busy breakfast time. Honey, being a pretty Taylor Schilling look-alike won’t help you at your job as a hostess. All in all, we were pretty happy with our food and experience. It wasn’t blow-your-socks-off-amazing, but it sufficed.

The Sahara is one of the best breakfast joints I’ve ever been to. After coming here three years in a row, I can vouch for their consistently delicious food and friendly service. And you can’t beat the price! If only all diners could be this amazing. The Sahara is actually one of the reasons we return to OCMD every year and we go every morning while we’re on vacation. My favorite menu item is Ray’s Perfect Storm. The eggs are cooked perfectly every time. Their breakfast sausage is fantastic, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The hash browns are another clear winner. you have to get them! I prefer the French Toast over the pancakes since it’s fluffy, moist and perfectly sweet. The only disappointment I’ve ever had at the Sahara is the Huevos Rancheros. In hindsight, this is not the place to order this dish. The salsa they use is bland and mild, two words I’d never want to associate with Huevos Rancheros. Weirdly, the tortillas were rolled up and served on the side, which was my biggest complaint. Rather than being part of the dish they just seemed like an after thought. Anyway, one misstep at a café with so many hits doesn’t matter. I’ve enjoyed every single other thing I’ve ordered here and heartily recommend the Sahara!

*I am editing my first review* The food was excellent! Best breakfast place in OC for sure. We had a small problem with the service but the food was delicious and we liked it so much we went back the next morning. I love hat the owner actually reads these reviews and takes pride in his business. He responded back to my review and took care of us the next morning we went in. We definitely recommend Sahara Café and we will be back next time we’re in OC!

Breakfast that will feed for a day! Obscenely delicious is the best way to describe this breakfast. I ordered the Phili-cheesteak omelet, hash browns, wheat toast, and coffee. The omelet was simply outstanding. Stuffed full of grilled steak, onions, green peppers, and cheese, the thing measured 9+” long x 4″ wide, x 1.5″ high(compare it next to the creamer!). The hash-browns were cooked to perfection w/good coffee. @ $ 10, this was a tasty breakfast value. As you can see, I couldn’t get halfway through the omelet. Try to get Joyce as your server, she’s a sweetheart and will take good care of you! And tip her well, she deserves it. 6pm update: I heated up the leftover omelet and still couldn’t finish it. It’s the meal that will feed you for a day!
