Bobby Tyson’s Tire and Auto

I came to them with a bad drivers side wheel bearing, I told them that’s what I thought it was. I had an appointment in Nola the next morning. They determined that it was the passengers side that was bad. I noticed when I picked up my car at 5 that the noise was still there but had no choice, I had to go to my appointment. My plan was to take it to them as soon as I returned. Unfortunately half way to Nola my car started vibrating off the road, I pulled over into Longbeach to the nearest repair shop. And of course they replaced the wrong side! It was my drivers side! Then Coastal tells me how much it is and it is HALF OF WHAT I WAS CHARGED BY BOBBY TYSONS. I then & only then decided to call all the shops in OS to see what they would charge and sure enough BOBBY TYSONS charged me twice as much as everyone in town would have and mind you, THEY REPLACED THE WRONG SIDE. When I called them he said he would talk to Bobby about making this right and OFCOURSE I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL. So then I disputed this charge and the letter that they wrote to my credit card company was COMPLETE LIES, no they did not break any laws BUT THEY HAVE displayed no MORALS/​VALUES. IT IS SO SAD TO ME THAT THEY WOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SOMEONE like this. And/​or not try to correct it.

Was visiting my son and daughter in law from out of state… The engine light came on on my Jeep and it started vibrating. Didn’t know where to go. I searched google I took a chance on Bobby Tysons… So glad I did! They were awesome! Turns out all it needed was a tune up. I recommend them highly!

bobby is a pastor and an honest guy. his brother also works here. they fixed a transmission for me that was a real problem. they aren’t cheap but they’ll get it done right. call ahead so you don’t have to wait and to make sure they have time to get to your car.

Honest straight shooters who take their time & make sure the job is done right. My truck runs great. Do your self a favor & see a real mechanic like bobby. Your car will thank you.

Took my vehicle here for some repairs and have never been more dissapointed. Numerous unauthorized work was done without my permission and they charged me for a heater core change that they never performed. One of the problems I took my vehicle in for was never looked at. Never, never, never, ever take your car here!
