Golf review–
Great golf facility. The grass tee box, short game and putting area is nice. The golf carts are in good shape. The staff is friendly and helpful. The course is in good shape for the amount of play it gets during holiday weekends when I usually play.
I really enjoy playing this course when I’m in Ocean City.

We stayed here for one week with my wife’s family in July. It is a nice, quiet, family-​oriented community. The house we stayed in was very neatly kept, my kids had a great time using the various community swimming pools and I even managed to get a round of golf in with my father– and brother-​in-​law. The shuttles that run to the beach are pretty scattered and disorganized, although our driver was very nice. By the second day, we decided to just drive ourselves to the beach and pay for parking. The staff was not particularly helpful. When I asked where to sign in to use the swimming pool, the rather grumpy old guy behind the desk sarcastically said, «Well, it’s the clipboard that says ‘POOL.’» When I asked one of the employees if we were in the right place to catch a shuttle, he gave me a deer-​in-​the-​headlights look and replied, «Dude, I don’t have any idea.» Overall, still an enjoyable & relaxing experience, though.

131 willow Oak at Bear Trap Dunes is not recommended. Rental was unclean, AC stopped working… poor response from service personnel. After 7 years of making Bear Trap Dunes the vacation destination of choice for the family vacation, we will move on. There is too much competition in the vacation rental industry to settle for such poor customer service and rental properities that are poorly maintained and poorly managed.

One of my favorite places at the beach! Run by DeFebio family so good, reliable Italian food, but also a menu with variety. I love the outdoor seating in summer overlooking golf course and woods. In winter, you get the wood burning pizza over and the fireplace to add ambience. The food is consistently good; great pizza, fish entrees are healthy and filling, Italian food and lots of other choices like burgers and sandwiches. Family friendly in restaurant, bar in back for golfers and sports fans. More specials in off season…
