Grover Beach, CA
By far the best public gymnasium in the Five Cities area. The facility is run and funded by tax dollars through Lucia Mar School District. They have basketball leagues which are run through a partnership between Arroyo Grande Parks and Recreation and San Luis Obispo County YMCA. The basketball youth league which services over 900 children runs through the winter months. The boys and girls play regular season games as well as a season ending tournament. Great fun!

Play is necessary in any community to begin to understand the meaning of life.
Awesome basketball court, with stage and amphitheater to boot, to get a game in. A very nice path of grass accommodates wonderful rounds of footbag and cozy picnics (the outlets let you bring your boombox and tunes to your hang out)
The definition of a community (if only they allowed futsal!)
