Despite all these floral services like 1800Flowers & other ones that are out there that I do but from because it is convenient — I still enjoy buying flowers the old fashioned way by going to a florist & this place is just the florist to do so.
After being in business for over 75 years — these people know what they are doing & they do it well. I’ve been in here a few times to pick up a simple bouquet and the flowers were fresh, smelling delicious & colorful. The refrigerators are stocked with flowers & the show room floor has a lot of nice gift ideas on hand. Great stuff.
The service — no complaints there! I ask & I shall receive… without a huff & puff.
No wonder this florist has been around a long time!

The last three times I bought bouquets here, they wilted within a VERY short time, looked sickly when the cellophane was removed and way over priced for what you get. I asked for a $ 50 arrangement, specify particular colors then let the florist pick. I went to Blossom Heath because the other local florist was worse. I now go to a florist in RVC and am having better luck, so far.

I love Blossom Heath and I have had nothing but positive experiences with all members of their staff for over 15 years. They are magicians and lifesavers!
They always have the most unique flowers on-​hand (ex: my mother’s favorite, Birds of Paradise which is tropical and pricey elsewhere) and can fit anything you want into any budget ($ 20 bucks, of course… they make it look like $ 50…$ 75 looks like a million!)
The flowers are always fresh and they really know how to cater to last minute requests Example, I ran in on the day of my brother’s wedding about an hour before guests were arriving — my mom forgot to get flowers for the house to spruce it up… they made three arrangements of different sizes for different tables which were all perfectly sized and all three for under $ 100 — that was my budget. They delivered within an hour instead of having me wait there. Amazing job. My mother kept insisting to give me money because she thought I spent at least $ 200!
Small gift shop next-​door with stuffed animals and assorted candies. They were even able to pick out a perfect stuffed animal as part of a flower arrangement for my god daughter… and the guy was definitely unsure of how to pick out stuffed animals for little girls (I was on the phone). Again, great job! She loved it.

Customer service was great and delivery was prompt but the «deal of the day» Mother’s Day flowers I ordered was poor quality. Lots of greens and filler leaves and not enough flowers for what I paid not what they had promised. They said because it was florist’s choice they would do extra nice arrangement but it was very disappointing especially since it was for Mother’s Day. Also the flowers were wilted. I will not be ordering from them

Ordered a standing wreath for a funeral, the colors were not exactly what was pictured from the website, but they must have been very busy that week as they are the local florist for that funeral home in Oceanside. The staff was very friendly when I called and answered all my questions with respect and professionalism during a difficult time. They pride themselves on their work and I will definitely be using Blossom Heath in the future! Thanks Pete!

I called Blossom late afternoon the Friday before Mother’s Day and was ecstatic to hear that it would be no problem at all to still have a Mother’s Day delivery set up. After efficiently going through the particulars (name, address, note, etc) I told the employee that
«I’d like a bouquet in the $ 50 dollar range with all purple and yellow flowers. Would that be possible?»
«Yes, no problem.»
«Great! Feel free to add some white in too. Oh, and NO pink. NO pink at all please.»
«Purple, yellow, no pink, got it.»
Well guess what everybody? Pink vase. Pink roses. Pink flowers of some kind. A small smattering of purple. A few white flowers where the petal base was yellow. This bouquet was over 80% pink.
Mom dislikes pink. We recently got in a fight and while we already have mother’s day plans later in the week, I wanted to «make up» a bit extra with the flowers. She thinks I sent the pink on purpose! Very frustrating! I might very well be venting a bit more than I should because of frustration with my situation now with my mom, but color is a personal thing and you’d think that with so many flower options out there, it wouldn’t be a problem to avoid one. I couldn’t have cared less if the end result wasn’t purple and yellow, but why in the world make the only color you ask NOT to be included the main color of the bouquet? And the vase no less.
All that being said, the flowers were fresh and delivered securely.
Sorry Blossom, you’re wilted and jilted in this local’s book.

I’m not sure how you don’t rate a florist five stars when they have all the flowers you could think of and the service was quick.
I guess that’s pretty much it, huh?

I sent flowers from Blossom Heath Florists last week, and was completely impressed. I always get nervous when I purchase something online without ever seeing it, especially flowers.
I saw the arrangement, and it looked better than I thought!

When I want to send my mom or grandma a birthday, mother’s day, get well, etc. bouquet, I turn to Blossom Heath. Experience has taught me that flowerpetal, teleflora and 1800-​flowers while good, cannot match the level of service and quality that dealing directly with a really good florist can. So do your homework Unilocalers!
