They have raised the prices and now charge me almost 10 dollars for the same meal I mentioned in my previous review. The omelette used to come with either toast or a bagel but now they charge me for the bagel. They also now charge $ 1.25 to have cream cheese on your bagel. Although the food is good I am not sure it is worth the money any longer.

Been coming to Mikes for a long time (maybe since I was like 10, guys!) and while it had been a few years since I had been in because I no longer live close by, I think it is a good spot for a bagel.
They are have a good chewy/​soft combo and plenty of flavors.
They are suuuuper heavy on the cream cheese, so just be sure to ask for light amount.
We most recently came in for rainbow bagels, since they are one of the only places locally that I know of that has them. Sure they taste like any old plain bagel, but the rainbow marbling is so fun!
The place isn’t fancy, but I’ve always thought the employees were friendly and I don’t come for bagels to have a lavish dining experience, just grab and go.

I love the bagels here especially the cheese ones. But everything else here is terrible. The cream cheese is disgusting and their smoothie and coffee drinks always miss the mark. If I ever come here it is just to get my bagels to go and head over to Ralph’s to buy some good cream cheese. Would not recommend this place.

Worst service I have ever had. Bagels look and taste old. One person working with a line of 6 people. Had to get bagels for the office and had no choice. I will never be back.

This was literally the weirdest food Ive ever had. I had an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, bacon, and tomato. Full of flavor, right? Wrong. All I could tste was chinks of salt. I literally had to check the bagel to make sure it had bacon in ot. Zero flavor. The bagel was light and fluffy and tsteless, except the salt. The cream cheese was thin and watery. Absolutely zero flavor bacon. Tomatoes were fresh.
Otherwise, the place was clean and quiet, nice guy working behind the counter. They had a good deli menu but I just dont think id bother. Disappointed.

Ah I’ve had better, been to this place at least three times and each time upon walking in you get the feeling of why don’t they put a little TLC into the place. The tables and chairs are run down along with a lot of visual stuff that just needs repair. Like broken cabinets and they use the storefront as a storage place.
The bagels themselves are ok I’ve had the chocolate ones and they were ok today I had the wheat bagel and it was ok I’m not happy that they succumb to the imitation eggs for being a mom and pop spot. The coffee is good but just a little bit better than alright their coffee setup is a bit weird if you want creamer you have to walk all the way to the fridge to get it. In alk my visits I’ve never had good customer service just poor English speaking woman with no customer service skills unless you speak Spanish to her. This will probably be my last time here.

Went there the other day. Nice small business. Fair prices for their food. My favorite is the smoothies that they have. I’m pretty plan when it comes to bagels and just like the plan bagel with cream cheese. I would recommend it if you’re in the area. There is a Taco Bell and McDonald’s right there so if you’re looking for a change of pace stop by and check them out

Please tell me why there’s a BIG SIGN above his store saying «buy one get one ½ off» ??? And the owner NEVER honors it!!! This is TWICE NOW. Just take down the sign instead of confusing patrons! :)
So the owner has some nerves to respond by letting me know that I need to ASK for the half off even though he’s got a massive sign above the store. Listen, it would’ve been a different story if the «buy one half off» was a coupon I forgot to bring, then I would’ve completely understood the full charge. But the sign is on the front of his store!!! As you walk right in! Whatever the discount would’ve been a dollar or two! Not thaaaat mad. ANYWAYS, aside from the owner’s shady behavior, AT LEAST HAVE FRESH BAGELS! GARBAGE BAGELS HERE. Don’t waste your time :)

This place has been around for forever! Great stop for a quick bagel and coffee before work or school, it’s usually slow (I think because it’s not a chain), so that usually means no line which is nice. They have good smoothies and bagel sandwiches

Was my first tine there and was very dissapointed. the guy behind the counter must of been Mexican and didn’t seem to understand anything i told him when i was ordering. i specifically told him i wanted swiss cheese on my breakfast burrito and he still put the wrong cheese on it although they made me another one, it was suppose to come with bacon and there was barely any on thrre, the only good thing about my experience was that thr coffee was great

Not impressed. Went here because I had a coupon for a bagel and cream cheese combo with coffee. The coffee was weak and lukewarm. The bagel was stale and the cream cheese had a weird sour taste. I’ve never had a take out bagel of such low quality. Maybe because I went in at noon I got the mornings leftovers. I ended up dumping my coffee and giving my bagel to my dog. She seemed to like it.

This place was a pleasant surprise on my way to work today! They were pleasant and helpful, the bagels were good. They had a bag of day old bagels there, and I thought, that will be nice for the weekend, so I got that also for only $ 3. What a steal. I really liked this place.

We stopped in today as we received a coupon in the mail. Had 2 sandwiches we split between us. Very delicious… generous portions (took ½ sandwich home)…I’m sure anything you order will be to your liking. We sat outside. The coffee is very good with fresh half n’ half cream. We will come back and try breakfast. The owner was very nice and generous. All of the 4 – 5 stars comments are right on. The store was clean and tables clean. We felt very comfortable eating here. xoxooxox

Mike’s Bagels is great for coffee and bagels. Did you know they have coupons on the receipt tape at Albertsons on Melrose Drive? Awesome value and Mike is so friendly and welcoming. Give it a try.
