I had Bob sharpen 5 knives today and it was unbelievable how much he charged and the amount of time he put into sharpening them. He knows absolutely everything there is to know about knives and he gave me so much insight into knives. Hes an absolute professional and very nice to my children who were super interested in his business. I will being Bob again for help when needed.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Owen’s Edge. Bob, the owner, is a very knowledgeable man with a state of the art «lab» on wheels. Service is mobile and very convenient. Rates are VERY reasonable and the service is outstanding. I recommend Owen’s Edge without reservation. Bön appetite!

Don’t waste your time or money having your knives sharpened at a farmers market. They can’t take the time like Bob does. His mobile van is equipped with EVERYTHING including a microscope! Most impressive for an OCD geek like myself, needless to say his services are invaluable if you have good knives that have never been professionally sharpened.

Mr. Owen is a professional in his craft. He will fix, sharpen and bring back the old knives back to life. The service was fantastic and thorough, I will be recommending him to my friends and even a restaurant.

I don’t know where people like Bob come from, but there should be more like him. I texted him last night and he came to my house this morning to sharpen 3 knives, including one I needed to make Sushi for friends this week.
Of course he did an incredible job with the knives, and of course the price was so incredibly reasonable ($ 20 for 3 large knives, I gave him $ 30), that’s a given. The thing I absolutely loved about Bob was his attention to detail and his passion for sharpening. We sat and talked for an hour about knives, sharpening, and he explained the whole process to me (because I asked).
This man is nothing short of an artist with knives.
I’m grateful there are still people delivering the kind of incredible customer service as Bob and I’ll be going back to him and recommending him to everyone I know.

This was, hands down, the best sharpening service, ever. You name it, Bob can probably sharpen it. I love how you don’t have to go drop off, wait a week or 3 days, and pick, only to find something you don’t like. Well, they come to you, so you can’t really beat that. All our knives sharpened in the comfort of our own home. Service was fantastic. Got a question? It’s answered. Want something special? Done. My service was scheduled, prompt and quick but never careless, and even a bit informative as I got to learn a little bit. Quality was top-​notch. You can tell Bob knows what he’s doing. He puts so much attention and care into every nanometer of the your knife or scissors edge. Got a Japanese steel blade that rusted a little bit and haven’t used in a while cause the kids put a nick in your blade? Bob resurrected a few of my knives from the drawers in my kitchen. Bob also showed me a custom re-​handle job he did with beautiful layered fibers. What a cool and gorgeous gift that would be?! I’m getting Owen’s Edge back over here to start a couple new projects soon and put back some life in some old steel and kitchen tools. I highly recommend Owen’s Edge to anyone.

Excellent experience. I contacted Owen’s Edge to breath new life into my 10 year old high-​end knife set with edges that were pitted and corroded. I questioned whether they were beyond repair.
