Pier View Dental

I absolutely love Pier View Dental! I had a lot of work done here recently and Dr. Vaughn made my teeth healthy and made a perfect crown for one of my molars. Dr. Vaughn really took the time to make sure I was comfortable while doing thorough work on my teeth. Their office has a quite and relaxing atmosphere and the staff is always super friendly, especially Adriana. I would recommend Pier View Dental for anyone!

My family and I receive our dental services through this facility. It has been easy to get an appointment and the facility is clean, but I don’t suggest bring your children here. My daughter got a little scared and didn’t want to open her mouth so the dentist refused to work on her. Even after I assured my child it would be ok. I want to mention There is a less experience X-​ray technician that had some difficulties capturing the images needed, so they needed to call in another technician to finish up the procedure, but everyone needs to starts at some point in there life.

Needed a cleaning so bad! Found this place walking by, location is right next to my favorite frozen yogurt shop (not fair! lol)
The office looks brand spanking new, gorgeous and clean! Associates at the front desk are professional and sweet.
Dr. Vaughn is gentle yet thorough. I am the type of person who get freaked out a dentist offices… and I felt relaxed and comfortable here.

I have nothing but great things to say about Pier View Dental. The staff is very friendly, the office and treatment areas are spotless clean, and the Doctor is wonderful.
I kid you not, this is by far the best all-​around dental service I have ever received in all the dentists in Oceanside I have tried over the past couple of decades.
Finding a great dentist is an extremely daunting task. I am quick to change dentists when I am treated poorly, given the run around, given a load of B.S., or being pressured into treatments or products I do not need. I know in my first visit at a dental office, if they are scammers, or their legit.
So, it is a blessing that I found Pier View Dental. And, after two appointments with them, I am very happy.

This office has the worst staff. They are rude, disrespectful and unaware of how to treat the public. The person at the office called 20 minutes prior to an appointment that had been scheduled for over a week to cancel. I missed it because I was driving to the office. When I arrived, she asked if I had listened to my voicemail. She then told me to listen to my voicemail. I did and learned of the fact that my appointment had been cancelled. I questioned why was I not informed and her response was that she called me twice. Both times that she did call was while I was driving to the office. Their reason for cancelation was due to the fact they didn’t accept my insurance. This is mind boggling being that I couldn’t schedule an appointment without providing them with my insurance information. Also, I had an appointment reminder call late in the evening the day before. Of course I was upset and they handled the situation rudely by telling me BYE! I asked to speak to someone in charge and no one was available. This was my biggest mistake in going there. Don’t go, you’ll regret it!
