Great place to get a haircut. Really family friendly. Mary is outstanding, always posting her schedule well in advance so you can plan when to come in. Haven’t had a chance to get a straight razor shave yet but with her skill with straight razor fades I’m sure she will do amazing!

I go to Stud Cuts religiously! Being that I grow hair at a much faster rate than the average wookie, finding a good barber is essential. Look no further! I see Mary every time and I don’t even need to tell her what to do. She does it right every time! The rest of the barbers are all extremely friendly and personable; it seems like they all carry a loyal following. Between the affordable price, family friendly atmosphere, and quality haircuts it is hard to find a better barber shop anywhere. Period.

If I could give this place 0 out of 5 stars I would. Got a fade around 1100ish didn’t get home till 3 to notice it was one of the worst fades iv ever had. Called and complained. They did fix it but had to drive all the way back when they should have just done the job right in the first place. I have no clue how you get a fade that messed up… I would have been off better if I cut my own fade. Bottom line. Do not go here!

Sharon and Mary have been cutting my hair for 15+ years. No better work, no better conversations. These girls and the rest of the crew are exactly what Oceanside needs for customer relations. I cannot recommend them more! The parking leaves something to be desired, but that’s Oceanside. Great prices, 100% great haircuts every. Single. Time.

I’ve been going here for about 8 years, see Sharon who is located just to the left as you walk in. I’m a repeat customers not just because she does such a great job with my hair but also because I have a rapport with her. I used to get my hair cut weekly while I was a Marine and now I still make the extra drive to come see her.
The overall environment of this place has always been a positive one from all the staff even when it’s at its busiest on Sunday’s. I’m still treated with the kindness and respect that most patrons come to expect. I highly recommend this place for a haircut.

I have been going here for a couple of months now and it’s great. Have gotten haircuts from several barbers and most are very good. My regular barber though is Max. She does a great fade and does an awesome job with the straight razor and leaves me silky smooth!

My go-​to place for a cut. Very efficient barber shop with an automated number system so you won’t lose your place. Lots of couches to wait on and tvs to watch. It can get a bit crowded but it moves quickly. The free shampoo is nice so you won’t leave covered in nasty hair clippings. They also have a lot of sample product to put in your hair after you get it cleaned. Price is typical for a military cut…$ 9 – 11 depending on what you get done. I like how they only charge $ 9 if you don’t get the top cut. Who gets the top cut every week anyway?

I wasn’t greeted with a hello or a smile, it was very awkward like I was supposed to know to just sit down. I came here because of the good Unilocal reviews but what a mistake.
The lady who cut my hair seemed pretty nice but unless she has a buzzer as her main tool I don’t think she knows how to cut hair. I got a quick hack job and now my fiancé is pissed at how bad my hair looks along with myself. I have about 30 different lengths of hair and it looks like I was laying down while my hair was cut. Atleast I can wear a hat for awhile and wait for it to grow enough to be fixed.
Beware, do not go here if you want to keep your hair on the slightly shaggy side.
