We have 3 kids so 5 people to buy airline tickets for and somehow we got this idea to drive into Mexico and stay in a house on the beach.
While researching how to do this, where to stay, I found this company, The Baja Experience, run by Tom and Eileen Kennedy.
They have a guide to ease your way across the border and to find their off the beaten track fun zone, Punta Banda. They were wonderfully accommodating and so supportive.
When I left behind the sand dollar my 8 year old found on the beach, Eileen sent me one of hers.
Mexico especially Baja can have a bad rap but we found all to be incredible. We sat on the beach — we watched the beach life dolphins, pelicans, birds etc. We saw incredible sunsets. Ate good. All in all a wonderful vacation and we can’t wait to go back. There is plenty to do although we didn’t really do much away from our casa. Liked it so much… we would probably go right back to the same place.
